WOW! Stone Hut on mars Sol 728 captured by Spirit rover ?

Well well well..
there appears to be a stone hut on mars

I could go on speculating with some mombo jombo.. but I think not, your guess is as good as mine.

Looks like it consist of a bunch of smaller stones

Well, if that pic is real, and that rover doesn't drive over to check it out,
then you know something is up. I hope it drives over there and a plaque reads,
"Jimmy Hoffa".

John Lear states that there are 40 planets with life like earth in our solar system.
The ancient indian vedic texts say that all planets have life.

That too me definitely looks like a hut, and it looks like NASA slipped up, an image like this would usually be doctored to hide anything that looks like there is life on other planets.

Wonder why they leet this sleep thru, reminds me of the JPL incident where they forgot to color retouch mars's sky and it looked its original baby blue like earth as it should before NASA edits the photos.

it does look interesting but if you look down to the left side of the picture you see a big rock with those holes all over it and it looks like the one you pointed out is a bigger version of that but still crossing my fingers for "alien hut" hehe

Well its rocks clearly but to be fair that looks odd and just very out of place. They usually give names to the rocks at the International Astronomical Union's official Martian naming system:

Tough one!

depth perception tells you one is at least 10 times as big.. But not all of us have fresh senses.

More proof Nasa lies. that's no a natural formation in the desert topology and it has the definite form of a structure.

Aye, looks to me like the rock on the left is some kind of badly eroded conglomerate, and the 'hut' is possibly the top of a larger outcrop of the same rock, most of which is hidden behind the dune.

But, then again .....

To OP - Nice find! I love looking at all the "rocks" the rover is photographing. This photo does indeed look like a hut to me. I am one of those who wants the rocks to be something more than rocks so I am a little biased. I would not be shocked at all if something is/was there.

They always say other planets couldn't support life but I am never sure why they say that. Maybe the life that is there doesn't require what our life here does. If it's a whole other life form then it's possible that we don't know anything about what they/it would need in order to exist.

Ah well... one can dream at any rate.

Ok that is really cool, has NASA made a statement about this yet? because I would like to hear the explanation for that or hear the explanation for why they haven't gone even closer to get a better image.

This has done the rounds for a long time now.

It's been dubbed 'The cairn', like the piles of stones people stack up here on Earth.

Probably just conglomerate though...mores the pity.

But that whole photo looks odd. If you study the rocks they all seem..... Un natural to the landscape. As if they have been blended in. Maybe NASA stuck them in to make sure we think Mars is the same ALL over.

I dont know I am just speculating not stating.


I also had the thought that the "hut" could possibly what is left of the inflated module the rover travelled in? But that is a long shot as it's probably nowhere near there now. I don't know where the rover is in relation to where it started, but it was just a thought.

I don't recall it. Surely you do, as it's proof of them lying.

the fact that similar textured things are in the foreground says nothing to you guys. this is a created hut, probaby has a fire place inside it and a pet dog to guard the place. old mrs martian standing out the back with a broom complaining "Always mars dust, I sweep and sweep, but this dust.. always mars dust.."

yeah, they sure do lie a lot, telling us nothing about old mrs martian...

It's a rock, like the ones n the foreground.

The rover is not going back to that place, as that photo was taken some years ago and that rover got stuck in the sand and stopped communicating in 2011.
