Basically Obama skirted the legislative process and COMMANDED a change that greatly financially benefits those pulling off the man-made-global-warming hoax. The democrats are heavily invested in 'alternative energies' which always fail. Now Obama, with the stroke of a pen, has channeled a pile of money in that direction. His buddies like Al Gore will continue to get rich off the 'carbon credit' scam and their investments in (what were failing) so-called 'green' businesses.

Forced changes on energy ... take the lightbulbs for instance. We no longer have lightbulbs made in the USA. The last ones were deemed not energy efficient enough and were outlawed. Now we have to import bulbs that are supposedly energy efficient but God help you if they break because they release a poisonous gas (you are supposed to open the windows for 15 minutes after a break) and they leave behind toxic broken pieces which further pollute the land. That's an example of how these BOZOS in DC 'fix' things ... take away our regular USA made light bulbs and replace them with toxic foreign light bulbs.

The big issue ... Obama is 'ruling by executive order'.
He's an inept fool and he screws up EVERYTHING he touches.

We know how brilliant and intelligent the majority of politicians are so they should certainly be in controlling positions.

Given that even UN scientists are now grudgingly admitting the sun is going into a minimum (They had to because the temp stalled for 17 years while CO2 increased by 8%) and other scientists are suggesting the earth is in for a major cooling,. I can think of NOTHING stupider.

We are at the END of the Holocene Interglacial. GRAPH of solar insolation and temperature from Greenland and Antarctic Ice Cores note that the temperature has been COOLING for the last 6,000 to 7,000 years!

Dr. Brown a Physicist at Duke university states the climate fits "Chaos Theory" best with two Strange Attractors Warm and Cold.

NOTE: A geologist e-mailed me a zip file of hundreds of papers so the internet does not necessarily have links to these papers available to the general public. (You have to pay for them) All papers indicate the solar insolation will hit bottom and stay there for thousands and thousands of year. The only question is whether the Holocene will be ending soon or be a double cycle.

You do realize that there is a 6-8c temperature anomaly in that graph you linked, right?

Doesn't that track with the deforestation we've done since the agricultural revolution?

I thought we prevented an ice-age thousands of years ago, and now are way passed balancing the temperature towards our benefit.

Also, you're a bit out of your mind here. This chart is in thousands of years, and shows temperature for greenland and antartica, compared to solar energy over the northern hemisphere.

There is no declining temperature on that chart. You have misread. There is a decline in solar energy, AND a leveling off of temperature, as in WE ALREADY HEATED THE PLANET UP THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO.

let me get this straight...he isn't doing anything to stop climate change, but is asking governors and mayors to prepare for the consequences IF it does happen...and all of you are pissed off about that???? about... preparing for it...let me say that again...PREPARING FOR IT...maybe...I know this just makes you angry but...someone should have some type of plan for a climate disaster??....like floods in the Midwest a few years ago, followed by drought, or the tornados that killed people, or the hurricanes that killed people, or katrina, or sandy, or the thousands of cattle that died just a few weeks ago in the upper Midwest from freezing temperatures, or the wildfires out in the west that grow bigger each year.

Exactly. You would think most people on this site (who tend to be the "prepper" types) would understand about preparing for catastrophic events that may or may not happen. It's just another excuse to bring out the Obama haters.
