Maximum Overdrive was great. Another Stephen King one I liked is Silverbullet.

Triangle is a wild ride, from beginning to end.

Good choices Slayer. Night of the living dead(Remake). A classic, just like the original.

Love the choices, but I have to say *Not for the kiddies*, hmmm who the hell looked out for us, I saw all of those movies as a young teen

I am still trying to convince my daughter to watch the exorcist (which I would like to add to this list), you know to get it out of her system!

Peace, NRE.

Edit to say that Ok I saw the dates on those, maybe not my early teens, but definitely those movies were scarier then the movies that are out now. "IT" still scares the crap out of me, and ruined generations of kids that are now terrified of clowns, I always wondered if it put circus' out of business.

You missed Sleepy Hollow, the Halloween movies, Beetlejuice, Night Falls, Rose Red, and Drag Me To Hell. All excellent for a night of jumps and chills. Oh, and Evil Dead. Can't miss that either.

Unfortunately, I can only find the trailer for this one. Closer to a B-rated movie, but an excellent take on the idea of space vampires. Also has Patrick Stewart in it. A classic imho.

Even the Evil Dead remake was good, and I was surprised!

Oh and how did I forget the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, the first one especially the others were hilarious, and scary "spoof" movies ruined a lot of classics, but turn off the lights, and get some popcorn and scare yourself

Peace, NRE.

Sleep Hollow, Rose Red and Night Falls are really good too. Rose Red is a Stephen King movie, if that tells you anything.

And Pet Semetary!

If you like Stephen King. You'll like Rose Red. Might I also suggest Stephen Kings...

For those who haven't seen it, tonight is the perfect night for Evil Dead. Well, not around here....all cloudy and rainy. No full moon or anything like the typical Halloween setting. Disappointing. But perfect weather for sitting indoors and watching a certain movie.

Some great movies already mentioned and I'm also a huge fan of Stephen King. I own and have read a lot of his books. Anyways thought I would through in a few of my own favorite horror/mind-twisting movies.

Event Horizon:

Cube and Cube^2: Hypercube:

Dark City:
