Nothing exists outside of our perception.

This makes no sense. What is perception perceiving? Itself?

Random drivel.

Really, funny that you are not able to recognise an inescapable truth.

Name one thing that exists outside of our perception.

This shouldn't be difficult if what I said is drivel.

I await your answer.

You have not answered my question. Is perception perceiving itself? Surely you've already figured this out.

LMAO!! hahahah!! I agree!! hehee

It's like if the earth gets wacked by a Asteroid and kills ever body. And the Universe has no one to observe it (if were the only one's that can in the universe) is the universe there? Is it perceivable, the universe, without an observer ? And all that crap!! lol!! I just don't know! (I don't)

You attacked my comment so I expect you to refute it first.

Maybe the observer is God and he was first and will be the last.
God shines the light and sees the light - nothing was ever 'made'.

What we perceive is outside of perception. That which perceives is outside of perception. If not, then you are talking to yourself.

It obviously isn't. What evidence can you come up with that proves it does exist outside our perception?

On the other hand there is infinite evidence that it does exist within our perception.

Prove me wrong.

That which perceives is outside of perception.

And you know this, how?

you are talking to yourself.

I agree with that.

Then what is it you perceive? Feel free to answer this at any time. This is the third time I've asked.

If you are talking to yourself, then you disagree with what you are saying. Cannot make up your mind?

I made the original statement which you attacked but refuse to refute. Why don't you answer first?

Well if there "was" a Big Bang. Then no body was around to perceive it. But, it happened. As I perceive there was a big bang (or a beginning of the universe) before I or anyone else was around to perceive it and so on. What!! lol!

I already did. I said what we are perceiving is outside of our perception in case you've forgotten. Go kick a rock and tell me it doesn't exist.

Now I'll ask for a fourth time: What is it you are perceiving?

I am sorry - I do not understand the question?

However - I offer this - not sure it will help.
There is just a light show happening in nothing as nothing - it just appears as this constant movement.

You do realize that the rock is something you perceive? I asked you for an example of something that exists outside of our perception.

Lol, we only "know" this happened because we can perceive it.

Will we ever know the true nature of reality?

What we know... or think we know, is ever changing. Between science and various religions, we see a constant battle... not so much to gain that understanding, but to lasso the greater number of people (like you and me) into thinking that their particular view of it is the only one that is correct.

Okay, well... the problem that this leads to is that once we are on the hook for any angler, we cease to look for whatever else might be out there just awaiting discover and/or understanding. We toss all our trust into a bicycle basket and then hop on the handlebars for the ride. From that point on... the effort to discover is reduced by millions... maybe billions of human minds.

I like what Galileo said and I think it can be used to address both science and religion:
"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

From that position, one never ceases to look at reality for what others may have missed.
