Did a search for this, but came up empty. Rock Legend Lou Reed has died aged 71. Known for his work with the Velevet Underground and alliance with Artist Andy Warhol, and for his Album Transformer, from which the tracks 'Walk on the Wild Side' and 'Perfect Day'. RIP Lou.

I just found out about this. A great innovator in music. Velvet Underground one of those bands a lot of people don't know of, but the ones who do have formed their own bands at some point.
I saw a photo of him recently and he wasn't looking well. Appeared to be very yellow.

The music video he did for his song, "No Money Down", with a robot likeness of himself was entertaining to watch when I first saw in the 80's. Not sure what the lyrics are about but the video is one of a kind.

I know he had a liver transplant earlier this year. I wouldn't be surprised if that ends up being at least a contributing factor.
