You are looking the wrong way by 180 degrees.

I believe the spot you are pointing at is in daylight at this time but if you could see it it would be due west in the early evening.

ISON is currently due east in the early morning as is shown in my post with the Stellarium screen grab.

Yes Cancer is the Crab.

Hi all..still on Ison this comet get more interesting with the grow of his body and tail..this time i can say 3 times maybe more, so we can count how big when he reach near our sun..

Does it mean he expects a happy event?

If he does then one can wonder about his ability to recognise the correct facial expression that goes with a particular emotion or quality.

But hey, he is so cute and adorable that he has acquired quite the following of like (absent)minded people.

In parting I want to share another emoticon which most of you will probably associate with intelligence then........

This maybe just a random question but don't objects tend to appear bigger the closer they get, besides the logical fact that a comet's tail grows as it gets closer to a sun?

Cheesy never implied any doom. He's just updating us on ISON.
