Congress discussions to sell the National Parks

I'm old enough to have seen the land in my home world be gobbled up and sold for development again and again. In the neighborhood where I grew up this was parks, places called reserves and preserves. Its pretty much gone now. It was supposed to be there forever. I don't know where you live.

Now you if you want to discuss land (and not National Parks; as this whole thread incorrectly mentions) I am game. That is important to discuss. But because of nonsense like this, such important issues aren't discussed because it take days to figure out what exactly we are talking about.
