Over time I have been getting increasingly cranky with the liberal media for watching Obama lie and instead of admonishing him for this, they would pat him on the back. I have repeatedly mentioned here at ATS, that I have no political party, I just point out the wrongs when I see them. So today, seeing this video gives me new hope. All I ask is that when our president lies, that they call him on it.

Anyways, I really don't need to list anymore about the contents of the video when I can sum the entire thing up with this: Lied... Blah blah blah... Lied... blah blah blah.... Etc....

they are outright lying about what's going on

Why listen to others when our leaders look into a camera while making promises; call it from their very own mouths.. Up to the individual to decide.

MSNBC actually allowed someone on their network to tell the truth about it? WOW.
I noticed that sourpuss Mika Brzezinski couldn't bring herself to admit that her
buddy Obama and his minions have screwed up.

While I understand the emotive satisfaction to hear an left leaning, liberal show declare the Obama Administration "lying", I still hold the same standard to these statements as I do to middle or right leaning media.

Can we at least be specific and investigate claims?

Mike Barnicle, the guest commentator:

"They are lying about the numbers who have enrolled...the numbers of who have made the process complete...the numbers of people who have actually signed up"

Can we fact check that? Have they lied? Wouldn't that be the starting point for a "Deny Ignorance" discussion?

You right of-course, But all they had to do was, refer to the article from the Consumer Report.

Consumer Reports, which publishes reviews of consumer products and services, advised its readers to avoid the federal health-care exchange “for at least another month if you can.” “Hopefully that will be long enough for its software vendors to clean up the mess they’ve made,” the magazine said, having tested the site themselves over the course of the past three weeks.

Noting that only 271,000 of the 9.47 million people who tried signing up in the first week managed to create an account, Consumer Reports then provided a few tips to those attempting to slog through the application process. From attempting successive logins because “error messages . . . may not always match reality” to checking one’s inbox frequently because missing an e-mail a user will be timed out of the site and forced to start from square one, none of the suggestions guaranteed success.

www.nationalreview.com...

They could also show who Obama may have contacted for latest fix.

There seems to be one thing all people and party's can agree on, you need MONEY to survive and it would seem even the progressive liberals need MONEY to survive.

It would seem even Obama's low/no info base are starting to get it.

No get out of Obamacare Free cards here.

Wow...Almost 10 Million people tried to sign up in the first week??

Yes...the site is broken and in-excusably so...but that first week number clearly shows a real demand.

even though i am covered by both the VA & Medicare... i went to the 0bamascare site to inform myself
i got timed out twice because of navigation circles... so that 9.47 million attempts to sign up is itself a false number

i would suggest that 3 million people 'hit' the site, many logged on multiple times
AND not just to sign up... but to look for loopholes to exploit and excape this forced exercise of free-choice imposed on us by the lobbysts for Insurance & Pharmacuticals' & the obama administration pundits that arm-twisted the Legislators to passing the ACA...

and later given a blessing by the SCOTUS (also under duress at the midnight hour)**
** this is idea for another thread, that the NSA data mining was the needed edge to get the vote for 0bamacare passed and then OK'ed by the SCOTUS as a mandatory 'tax'........ hmmm

the 'affordable' care lies & spin is just like the spin & lies about the NSA data collection...

sure no-one is listening to every phone call or reading every e-mail.....in real time...
because the NSA is storing digital code... & not voices &/or words

... which technically makes the liars correct but not honest or realistic
because those digital symbols are just incomplete 'snapshots' of a 'motion picture' when put in the proper format and yields the actual voice & tone & inflections one intuits in a live persons verbal speach

obamascare is the same unwholesome kinda thing....using the Clinton-esque misleading the public with the infamous 'It depends on what the meaning of 'is' is...'
the whole defense for both 0bamascare & NSA wire-tops is that the 'interpetation' of 'listening & wire-tapping' is being mangled to death by too much-a-smart-ass, high falootin' word-play by the whole administration including Barack (Sotoro) obama ...aka: BS obama

thank you very much

So the OP claims that the President lied while offering "blah, blah, blah" as evidence? Whatever our political leanings, we shouldn't be required to be morons.

Really? Real demand?

Or is it a case of a lot of curious people trying to get a look at how badly they will get screwed?

We are supposed to believe that those numbers are correct too. 90% of Obama's social media followers have been shown to be fakes, why should we believe this number?

Here's the "problem" with you "hope".

As the right has been hitting on Obama and his administration and Obama has been giving them plenty of ammunition,
the right hasn't been hitting on the "ideas" of socialized medicine or socialism in general, it's been Obama, Obama, Obama.

Not his ideas.

The end result will be a general "agreement" that Obama may not have been the "right man" for the job. That his ideas will still be OK and as a result elect Hillary or someone of her like and they'll get it "right".

Back to square one.

The simple fact is our economy adjusted to market pressures and flourished best without gov't intervention and regulations.

Ultimately, that's where and how the jobs will be created and we turn this around. Take the leashes off and let them get on with it.

Yeah, it does show real demand. From people that don't currently have health insurance that qualify for a sizeable government handout that middle class Americans have to pay for. Like socialism much?

Right,,,, You're Sooooo Correct in your thinking.
You know as well as me, obama and the senate got obamacare pushed on the People when the house wanted to delay obamacare.
The other Clinton-esque era word being used here I think is ( Delay ) that's the new " what's the meaning os Is, is".
It's Delay and you know, it's going to be Delayed. Because, It Doesn't Work and Most of All,,,, Americans Don't Want It!
What the House couldn't do a Mouse as Done!!!

While I am glad the MSM is at least admitting there is a problem, I don't believe the numbers that have "tried" to sign up is accurate.

Hell, I tried, several times the first week. I don't need it, want it or have to have it. I was just curious. I am cannot be the only one that was.

So, I don't believe the numbers from the first week were all demand.

why does anyone vote for republicans?

this is like a kid that gets a new artificial leg after years of being in a wheelchair, and he can't master it and fails down for a month, and people on the right saying THROW THAT LEG AWAY!!...SUE THE MANUFACTURE!!.... PUT HIM BACK IN THE WHEELCHAIR!!!
