The Problem with 'Honesty' - Part 3 - A Path Forward

Ok, let's get down to practical factors.

I fully understand that one person's "truth" is another persons "lie"
or "heresy". I know that everyone says that truth is either completely
obvious (Christians and Scientists are good examples) or cannot really
be known at all.. that everyone has their opinion and that it will
always be that way.

So no use being a crusader for honesty! Honesty doesn't actually work!

I'd have to agree with this actually. Honesty does not work. And the
reasons are obvious. I've already examined some of the major reasons
that honesty doesn't work.. namely that humans are evolved to be
lying machines; mostly brainless chimps who are programmed by
ancient bits of random computer code which have evolved under
meme-gene co-evolution to enslave the human race.

Yes, in a manner of speaking memes are "spandrels" as Danniel
Dennet might say.. (a spandrel is the space between arches,
which has the appearance of 'substance' but is in fact not), but
the brain resources which let themselves be programmed by
them are NOT. And there are the parasites.. but that's a subject
for another day.. I don't want to taint the intellectual purity
of the argument, by those who don't believe in metaphysical
things.

To perhaps several billion people, I'm damned to hell because
I don't go around parroting a meme-plex, which has no actual
reality whatsoever. On the other hand I literally love and
worship Jesus and the Holy Spirit (in a non-traditional way).
Yet to hell I am damned.. by those memes...

Let's examine for a minute something so obvious that I've
not spoken about it yet, though it is obviously crucial;
that being, if EVERYONE or at least MOST people spoke
the unvarnished truth.. then government conspiracies,
church conspiracies, and all the cruelty and 'evil' of
the world would be forced to close shop and go home.

The core problems are three:

1) People don't know how to live without the memes
which have formed their conscious rational minds
since they were toddlers.

2) People think that there is no way around 'moral
relativism' and the problem of 'opinions' being
indistinguishable from 'truth'.

3) People think that they can't afford to be honest,
unless everyone else is honest first.

Ok, lets address these objections one at a time.

"People don't know how to live without the memes
which have formed their conscious rational minds
since they were toddlers".

This is a matter of education. If some highly successful
people who advocate the path forward are observed
to be living examples of this path and if that education
is provided, then over time this education problem will
be resolved.

"People think that there is no way around 'moral
relativism' and the problem of 'opinions' being
indistinguishable from 'truth'".

There is a simple trick that will solve this. Now while
the actual nature of 'truth' and 'fact' is a slippery
business, this one 'trick' bypasses this issue.

If we all train ourselves to put these words as an
introduction to any controversial belief, proposal
or theory, "My self-interest in this is..." then
those 'leavening words', if non-deceptive, will
put the BS words that follow into proper perspective.

For example if Ted Cruz were to say "Obama Care Blah
Blah" and "By the way I'm on the payroll of the Koch
brothers and i'm doing these theatrics for pure reasons
of self-gain" why then that would put things in perspective
really fast! (BTW, I hate Obama Care too, for the most
part). Now Mr. Cruz won't do this... but we CAN get to
where he WILL be FORCED to do that eventually.

Let's use another personal example here. Let's use me.
I'm pushing this 'honesty schtick', so I ought to drink
my own cool-aid, right?

Ok, here goes:

MSI: (prounounced MYSI) I was born autistic, unwanted
and unloved. My parent's nearly killed me. I've never
fit in and don't belong in this world, except possibly
as a leavening agent. I'd like to end the pain and
suffering because it annoys me. Thus I've spent 5
decades figuring out how to do this. I want to feel
comfortable in the world and don't want all the
insane chimps with sparks of god in them to be
overcome by their own (mostly) self-generated
nonsense. So to give my life meaning, I am promoting
honesty.

then BLAH BLAH BLAH this post.

So if people found it to be in their own self-interest
to use the MYSI as part of their conversations, then
a new 'virus' would be implanted into the human
meme-gene pool.. once which could potentially
end all this pain and suffering, without introducing
ANY new TOXIC MEMES.

Are there memes involved here? Of course. Are
they toxic? I don't think so. They have nothing
to do with god or jesus or satan or any philosophy
or religion.

Now I know that politicians and religious leaders
and other meme-infested monstrosities would
do everything in their power to fight honesty.
They always have.

I know that the Pope probably won't admit
to being a meme-infested chimp anytime
soon.

But in this matter, we would need to "lead
from below". The first man infects the
second man. A third man starts a group
to promote honesty. That groups provides
pressure which 'hooks' a more influential
group. A cascade forms.. over time,
eventually.. the "honesty through
disclosure of self-interest" will infect
the entire planet.

But people can't afford to do this...
because the entire world is against
this happening... right?

Well it needn't be that way.

Which brings us to part three,

"People think that they can't afford to be honest,
unless everyone else is honest first."

We need to build honesty unions. We need to
monetize honesty. We need to form dot.com's
based on this principle.

Members of one of these 'honesty unions' or Type
H corporations would receive benefits and support
from others that like them.

They would functionally be 'paid' to be honest and
to use the MYSI principle.

Rather than the white collar criminal training camps
called congress, religion, and secret societies, we
would slowly start building a society where the
most honest man or woman would have the highest
social status...

The monster which created us, and which we feed
every day of our lives would be slain, and we would
be fit to make the next great leap in human
evolution.

FYI I am not the anti-Christ or a member of a secret
society. My 'agenda' and 'self-interest' (MYSI) is
precisely as written; not one dot more or one dot less.

Yes, this is a great work, but it's doable. Completely
doable.

If you could 'save the world', without spending one
red cent or spending one minute of personal time
on it ----- would you do so?

I would...

Just use MYSI with your friends at first.. build little
collectives of "honesty paying more than dishonesty".

Start slow at first.

Within a few generations everything will be well on
the way of a glorious future, free of our parasitic
overlords that most of you didn't even know controlled
you.

That's it. That's my soap-box.

FYI, if anyone truly likes what I've said and wants to
start a 'secret society' or induct me into a secret
society who makes this program their top priority..
I'm completely game... It's the entire purpose of
my life (because I've made it that).

actually you can free your mind from worries/stresses, or by other words, you can find peace with in, be more creative and self-ware, if you always speak the truth.

You're right, the world is not an honest place. The trick is to be in it but not of it, not a product of that world.

They killed a number of people for being too honest.

Jesus, Socrates, Gandhi, MLK, JFK to name a few. Most of the people are conditioned from early childhood to believe in lies, lies fostered by the world that controls them and rewards them too, for obedience.

The reason you are uncomfortable here is that bothers you, you wish people were less deceptive, that they would see it like you do. Lots of people are either too busy to notice, to embedded to admit it, or the deceivers themselves. The more you have an effect on waking others up the more the deceivers will take notice and try and shut you off. After all you threaten their Paradigm.

Just keep being honest, you don't have to change them, fight them, or be like them.

Of course you are right. And I've known the gist of what I said decades ago, and I've
never gotten my briefs in a bundle about 'fighting this'. 'This' cannot be 'fought' in
the normal sense. And it's not my duty to fight it. I may be a boy scout (yes, I'd
hold the door for Satan or Jesus equally), but I know that in fact, these factors
of gene-meme co-evolution will wipe humans off the face of the Earth given
enough time. I as one man cannot stop a tidal wave.

But I do feel obliged to at least communicate the information, for my own selfish
desire to be fully honest, and part of the solution, in no matter how tiny a way,
and not just part of the problem.

I guess another thing that is not immediatley obvious, is that the first group to
follow my advice, will become obscenely wealthy beyond the dreams of
avarice --- or nuked out of existence --- or both.

"This" (I have omitted 50% of the details) IS THE BIG SECRET. So, of course,
should I go all super-boy-scout and push this all on my own, I would be
SLAIN and hung upside down for it. Nope I'm not exaggerating or viewing
myself as a messiah. I in fact have turned down that job 3 different times.

I'm a swinging dick with a big beer belly, male pattern baldness, and not
even my wife is that fond of me. You'll never see me in a sound bite,
I don't think. I don't have fake breasts or a hair weave and billions
of of my father's dollars.

I love so deeply, think so deeply, and bleed. That's pretty much it for me.

I have earned that silly smile on my face through hard work though.. for
what that's worth.

I just wish I was a better husband; no matter how hard i try, I fall so
very short.
