So do you think the photo I just posted shows a plane spraying, or a contrail forming naturally?

Good for you, but that goes nowhere towards accounting for my personal observations on many, many occasions.

It does completely account for your observations.

Your observations are trails that persist for hours and spread out to form clouds. Various people on this thread have shown that normal contrails can (and often do) behave in the manner that you observed.

Therefore, contrails can account for you observations.

Where is the exhaust contrail?

'fraid not. Why are you guys so persistent?
It was a non spraying day today.
And what a great day it was!

The moon was weird looking today though.

Really? Why not? It's been proven since 1915 contrails can persist for hours, and become cloud cover, but now you're saying they can't? Why not?

How do you know which days are spraying days?

...and DON'T say "I know it's a spraying day when I see persistent, spreading trails". You just got done saying you know the persistent spreading trails are chemtrails because you see them on spraying days.

That would be a circular argument.

No one here seems to know how things in the atmosphere actually work. The weather at 10,000 feet, 15,000 feet, even 5,000 feet is not going to be the same as the weather at ground level. I've cited a book before, I'll cite it again, because some people need to actually read at least an introductory book on how meteorology works before even making such claims.

Ahrens, Donald C. "Meteorology Today: An Introduction to Weather, Climate, and the Environment." Tenth Edition. 2012.

Many, many more planes than on a normal day like today.

A plane going upward at high speed cutting through the air? Similar effects would be
observed in a wind tunnel, no?

You do realize that flight paths change with the weather right? I've seen flights that have a planned flight path, and a real flight path that goes nowhere near it for a lot of the flight, because of winds, or turbulence. Right now there are several fronts moving around that are going to alter flight paths to avoid their effects.

Ok, plus one more then. How do you know that was the case, and not that the number of planes were the same but they were less noticeable, as I observed and actually said.

Something similar may be observed in a wind tunnel, but why is this visible on this picture? You are looking at a plane that has pulled up sharply following a high speed pass, the afterburners can be seen to be still lit giving an idea of the energy in the manoeuvre.

Come on Z! I have been observing this phenom for too long.
Besides, it was a beautiful, windless day today, as I may have mentioned.
You try too hard to convince a stranger you know nothing of
about the truth or otherwise of his observations, which you also know nothing about.
I appreciate your efforts, but you will not convince me to come around
to your way of thinking, I am afraid.
Try Eryiedes some more. He looks like he might be bordering on wavering, teetering, tipping, toppling, slipping...
but you would know better than I regarding that state of affairs.

I don't understand. If a camera could track and view from above the same plane travelling at the same speed horizontally, would it not show the same thing? Then again, there probably is a big difference between a plane cutting the air travelling horizontally and cutting the air travelling vertically.

I don't see what this has to do with chemtrails though.

It was great today not having them, that's for sure.

Please provide your journal and photographic entries for your observations over the years that you have been observing.

Besides, it was a beautiful, windless day today, as I may have mentioned.

And how do you know what the wind was like at 10,000 feet or 20,000 feet? Did you launch a weather balloon? Are you using Gibson Ridge software to get samples of weather conditions in the upper troposphere?

You try too hard to convince a stranger you know nothing of
about the truth or otherwise of his observations, which you also know nothing about.

You mean like how you're trying to convince a stranger YOU know nothing about and trying to convince him of something that has no evidence what so-ever in a field he has more experience in?

I appreciate your efforts, but you will not convince me to come around
to your way of thinking, I am afraid.

Closed minded individual. The exact variety that people always harp about on UFO forums.

Again, please provide your credentials and your observations over the years. Without it your arguments are empty.

It was windless on the ground. We're talking about planes flying up in the jet stream. I had a Gulfstream III go from Seoul, South Korea to Hickam AFB non-stop (which by the way they can't do), because when they got up into the jet stream they picked up a 155 knot (160 mph roughly) tail wind. Do you seriously think that we had that kind of wind on the ground?

The forecast for tomorrow shows 80-100 mph winds over the US up in the jet stream. I'm pretty sure you're not going to see 80-100 mph winds on the ground.

And chemtrail believers complain about skeptics. At least we actually have the guts to discuss things, instead of running away and ignoring it, or jumping right into insults, and acting like 5 year olds.
