Not boots on the ground type intervening but definitely intelligence sharing,Nigeria have the fire power to deal with those losers, these idiots are bringing in a foreign form of Islam to Nigeria and west Africa in general that was unthinkable only a few yrs ago and I am sure traumatizing the populous will endear many to join their cause..as a once famous commie said: Religion is the Opiate of the Masses.

Western world pouring Billions into Africa each year - Charity forever on the TV asking for funds to feed the starving Children. So what happens to the Billions given each year by our Governments ??? Do African leaders each have private bank accounts in Switzerland???? Its one country never short of Fighter planes, Bombers, Choppers, And a massive stack of military equipment. Remember when so called IdI Amin made groups of his constituency use a Hammer to kill each other etc. Way back in the 70s that was and what has changed ??? Zimbabwe ?? South Africa ?? No none of it, it is now the most uncivilised dot on the Map. UN are quiet about all this eh ?

Although one fact has to be pointed out..............that after First Gulf War in 1991, US and allies imposed sanctions on Iraq that thwarted even common food and medical items passing though. From 1991 to 1999, this caused the deaths of 500K to 2 Million peoples. If so many died then one can only imagine how many suffered in various painful forms. Only in 1999 were the sanctions modified to allow food and medicine to pass through and hence they were termed 'Smart Sanctions'.

Such horrendously genocidal treatment on one country is bound to raise voices and grow counter reactions from others. Hence the result was AQ, Bin Laden and all other branches and crop varieties of terrorists that came to live action.

Also, US neglect and even winking on the creation of Taliban in Afghanistan had multiplier effect on the power of AQ and Bin Laden. After Soviets left, US wanted to reward its ally or frenemy nation Pakistan with control over Afghanistan. Pak created Taliban and rest is the matter of reading wikipedia and other history links on the internet.

Now the Yankee Idiots are ready to leave Afghanistan and 99% further invite Taliban to take over and create another chapter in the game of global terrorism and counter moves.

Guess EVILNESS is showing up on both the sides. Hot form on one and Cold form in another.

In the meanwhile McCain can blame it all on Putin and feel giddy for a while............Silly Old Buffoooon !!!!!!!

In full agreeance all round, trouble is what the Political architchs make it. Loking back to the 50s I recall seeing many schoold documentaries in which many different Tribal folk each had their own patch of land, each had several cattle . goats and all seemed to have a water supply. Same goes for the Ausssie Aborigines, all went well untill the Western World arrived on the scene. Same down withing the Rain Forest zones, and yep, same goes for the original Aboriganles of America. It's the so called World of Christians plus Government developers that kicked all in the spot where it hurts, and yes once anger is stirred it can become a situation where New , self established leaders go out of their way to install a Big Brother like state. The answer of course always requires a form of Dictatorship and individual greed among the few. Did Governments learn anything from WW2, in which 55,000,000 were Killed (The Majority being unarmed Civilians ie Woman and Children who were blitzed in their own homes), was anything learned???? I doubt it, there's been about 34 Wars since 1945 that this World has witnessed and WHY ???

That is a good reminder LSH, and in my mind I did separate the difference. I know these actions by the extremists do so much damage to the religion, and it is sad.

Does true Islam require women under viel and given no education and little household rights? Does it also require that animals be painfully bled to death to be consumed? Does it also say that those who are not Islamic are like animals? Does it require conversion to Islam of non Islamic even by threat of force or even death? Does Saudi Arabia represent True Islam? To be honest, if 40 muslims were killed in the west, we would surely hear form the whole muslim communion.
But never have i seen any condemnation from muslims about all these killings by muslim extremist, not even the slightest commitment to put an end to this sick behavior.
The only interest seems to be a sharia state where ever they live so they can kill any non muslim because if sharia is the law they can do that without being prosecuted.

Are you involved in a muslim comunity? When is the last time you were a a mosque? I her about it all the time!! But what can we do ,when we barely have a voice to protest with? , it's hard enough living as a muslim here in the u.s.a and prostesting against our government ! And it's evil acts . Should i just run out in the street and say take me to gitmo ? ......just saying it's hard my good man ...

I completely agree-this an excellent window of opportunity to step up to the plate and crack down Themselves on fellow Muslim who are exremist terrorists+fanatics-because only MUSLIMS themselves can make a lasting difference here.

I sometimes think-is it fear of retribution from extremists against themselves+their own families that stops them from stepping up to the plate and very vocally+on a global platform,utterly condemn+denounce the ones among them who spread terror,death+destruction? Could that be it?
But if good Muslims wish to stop the snake eggs among them,from stigmatising all Musims-THEY are the only ones who can do it.Unless there is a very legitimate fear factor that makes them too reluctant to dare do so.

I have lived next to a mosque and my neighbors were muslim, also many of my colleagues were muslim, but that is 5 years ago now.
I have had more than enough conversations with people that have islam as their religion, it is more than a religion, it is an political ideology.
Not compatible with western democracy, that is why they segregate them self from the society.
We went far here in Europe, always listening to their problems which they encounter as a muslim in a western society, and try to find workable solutions.
So they have their own schools, many mosks, their own broadcasting, in some places speakers in the streets for the adhan.
And what do we get in return? Hirsi Ali has fled the country after Theo van Gogh was killed, Geert Wilders cannot live a normal life and needs to be protected every day since 2004, a third or fourth generation, (people born in the west) is joining the jihadi war against Assad in Syria, lots of death threats to whoever speaks out against islam, westeners are lower than pigs, jews must die, western womans are whores, threats of bombings, the youth far behind in education, and full of radical concepts.

Enough is enough.

There is enough indistinctness about islam, let's not feed that with links about not being forced to live by sharia, it is essential in islam and any muslim has to, otherwise he is not completely submissive to allah.

Speaking of education, just making things up and repeating them when everybody knows you are wrond is not a good sign of one.

I think a lot of these things, and that mall shooting in Kenya and stuff, they're all just FF opps. They're some specific agenda behind them once you start looking into the events and the characters involved.

Thank you for your line of thinking, I had not yet considered preventative measures, but all your suggestions are excellent. Armed students I usually may have a problem with, but in the case a trained gun owner would stand to benefit the situation. Surely some have considered what you have mentioned. I hope some type of increased security happens, enough is enough!

in my opinion Africa, as a whole, is looked at by the rest of the world as a playground.
Nobody really cares about Africa, except for it's resources.
As long as they keep themselves busy, at war and in political turmoil, it's all good
