Thanks for the updates cheesy. It would be interesting to see the Milky way from a more topographic view and SOL systems current region location within the Galaxy as well as EA*RTH location and any celestials near it.
Keep up the good COSMIC & EA*RTH reporting/updating work cheesy.

I find your constant use of the word "strike" confusing. Maybe just being overdramatic? I think so.

I had the exact same thought and was expecting some pics of damages. Fortunately there is no damage unfortunately our daily doomporn makes us expect there will be.

The closer we come to ISONs tail the more of this we will see. And we have no idea what that will be because nobody can agree on it.

Will "dodge the meteorite" become a new olympic discipline??

Are they still think that Japan is a safe place to be for the games??

Meteorites a-go-go and enough radiation to make you curl up your toes in 5 minutes...and yet they still insist on using this place for the greatest sporting event in the world...

Theres some major influence moving here..

I witnessed one on Sat night, 9-22-13 about 9:30. There was one the following night as well, but I missed it. I'm in Dallas,TX, but they were visible all over the state. Allen, Houston, Austin, and many other cities reported them. I guess we're traveling through a debris field or something. The one I saw came in at a VERY steep angle, blue-green teardrop shape, lasted only 2-3 seconds, no sound that I heard (but I was in my car with the windows up).

I'll admit it - It has crossed my mind that there's supposedly a super-secret space vehicle called the TAW-50 and enters the atmosphere at a VERY steep angle at mach 50. This meteor came in very steep and was awfully fast. I'm sure it was just a pebble-sized meteor, but it's fun to wonder a little sometimes.
