This to me is a scary movie! Dragon Day (2013)

When Duke Evans, out of work NSA analyst, is evicted from his home he moves his family to his grandfather's old cabin. However here they are also threatened when a hellish cyber-attack is unleashed on the US rendering anything with a computer chip useless. He must now keep his family alive, fight off would be thieves and a newly corrupted government and ultimately make the hardest decision of his life- to survive

God how do I believe this could happen?... But I do!

I watched the movie. It was good, but kind of depressing because it is a reminder of what things would really be like. Thanks for the link.

Just watched the movie last night. Well made, and the plot is definitely believable. I have absolutely no doubt that this scenario could play out. In fact, I think that some type of scenario is in the works with regard to China, and the current administration is just too dumb to see it, or is well aware of it and can't help but let it play out.

I'd be interested to hear what others have to say about the movie and/or a China occupation/take-over scenario.
