UK has new Syria chemical evidence - David Cameron

www.bbc.co.uk

The UK has fresh evidence of the use of chemical weapons in Damascus, David Cameron has told the BBC as he arrives in Russia for the G20 summit.

Scientists at the Porton Down laboratories have been "examining samples" from Syria's capital, he said.

Mr Cameron denied claims he had "no hand to play" over Syria after losing a vote last week on UK military action.

Well surprise surprise.

"We have just been looking at some samples taken from Damascus in the Porton Down laboratory in Britain which further shows the use of chemical weapons in that Damascus suburb," he told Nick Robinson.

Well he really doesn't want to let his buddy Obama down now does he, Cameron is still trying to save face.

edit to add a video which the bbc updated to the article -
here he is Prime Minister Slimeball

'The joint intelligence comittee were certain a chemical attack had taken place, highly likely it was the regime, and they couldn't conceive a scenario where someone else was responsible'

He can store his "evidence" right next to my pet unicorn. Cameron looks pathetic for his constant Obama boot-licking. It's actually even more embarrassing than Obama's "Red Line." These people never give up in their eternal quest for war, I wish we could send them all to Syria.

At this point, I don't think anyone doubts that chemical weapons were used, it's just a matter of who used them.

In the meanwhile, what really stinks about the U.N. inspectors going in to investigate, is that they've said that they are only there to see if chemical weapons were used and not who used them. I guess they're going to leave it up to the nations to decide based on the information they come up with.

Ah...looks so perfectly when looked at from a distance.

I suppose a repeat of the vote is in order...where those few votes will now swing the new way, when faced with "new evidence". And presto.

Who says you can't predict the future ??

I hate Cameron why cant he just let the U.S and France deal with Syria instead of looking for an excuse so he can join the latest middle eastern massacre event.

Yep. And at this point i'm skeptical of any 'new' evidence coming in.
This whole thing is convoluted.

So now they've changed the narrative from "Assad used chemical weapons" to "chemical weapons were used".

In other words, they've abandoned the lie that Assad used them because they've been exposed and are now going to attack simply because "someone" used chemical weapons...

Scum bags are scum.

Well, the article didn't exactly go that far. While the lab confirmed that chemical weapons were used, Cameron is still saying that the list against Assad was growing. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no evidence reported in this article stating why Cameron still believes it was Assad's military.

The thing is France, the USA,Israel, and now the UK have all SAID they have this evidence-but none of them have shown the public.
How in the heck are we supposed to believe their suppositions without being shown the darned evidence for crying out loud?

"Fool me once,etc etc"

I'm convinced. Lets attack the bastards.

Hell lets get Iran while we're at it and then we may as well "help" Egypt. Are there any other countries who need our "help"? We have plenty of bombs and bullets and we're good at killi...I mean "helping".

(I'm being sarcastic if it wasn't obvious.)

I agree 100% with you, it comes down to who used them, after all attacking Syria is been base on a chemical gas used in the civilian population so it doesn't matter anymore which side used them, just that they have been used, Cameron will do what he is told to do and I imagine the promises behind the backing.

Haha "Australian Spies" have just informed the biased News here, that they have new evidence as well.

I guess we shouldn't have expected anything less since Russia came out yesterday with their 100 page report showing why they believe it was the rebels using chemical weapons.

ETA: At least in the March 19th chemical weapons attack in Khan al-Assal.

You know what is the worst part of all this warmongering pushing, that is so obvious is actually laughable, the sad part is that collateral damage to push this Attack on Syria is despicable and immoral.

It only shows that when it comes to the wants and wishes of the warmongering and profiteers they have not scruples doing this to any of us.

And all the little presidents and prime ministers are following the instructions of their paymasters.

Seriously, does anyone truly believe that this invasion won't go ahead? In theory, Assad may be able to provide unquestionable proof that they haven't used CW but all that means is that in another 6 months there will be another false flag op and the invasion will happen. And then it will be Iran and then it'll be N. Korea.

People need to stop looking at these individual countries and look at the whole picture, which is a lot more revealing. We can all theorise about the small detail and who's behind it. Follow the money trail. If money is the root of all evil, then just look at who has all of the money.
