And I think if there is indeed an EMP weapon - use it now on Syria. Do so and I think you will scare the crap out of the Russian and Chinese.

If we have such a weapon use it now - and we may just avoid a third world war. Would there have really been a second world war if we could have a Hiroshima in advance of it - a warning??

And I think people who do not rally behind our president - or any other elected president at such a juncture in history - are bordering on treason. Even if it was W I would support him at such a time as this. All politics stop at waters edge.

And i think your post is absolutely ridiculous..... Joe Biden is that you???

The President has given the middle finger to the constitution repeatedly, yet WE commit treason...?

Bull-ish

ETA: You seem to have researched the Syrian conflict no further than the MSM reports. You also contradicted yourself by giving suggestions to "avoid a Third World War" then saying "rally behind the president"...

I hope you realize that any significant EMP is a nuclear weapon.

We are suppose to be a government made up of "We The People"

Not "I, Barack Obama."

If enough people in our country do not believe that we should be bombing another country (especially one that we really have no interests to protect, nor has attacked us, or any of our allies at this point), the the POTUS should be listening to said people.

Not dictating things in the form of "So let it be written. So let it be done."

You do have a right to feel that the POTUS is right, and want to support his actions. There is nothing wrong with that, as those are your feelings and opinion.

However, it's the people of the US that are suppose to make up the US. And if the majority of the people of the US do not want this, then the POTUS is going against the will of the people of this country.

It's not treason to not support the POTUS decisions. Especially if you think they are wrong in the first place.

Blindly following a country's leader however, especially in fear of being labeled as a "Traitor", smacks of of dictatorship.

So........are you saying that we should blindly support the POTUS? Are you suggesting that we all empty our heads and simply nod them, instead of thinking things through, and possibly coming to a different conclusion that does not include bombing the crap out of another country?

Are you saying we should stick our noses into it every time?

Are you saying "Right on! We need to be the storm trooper goons that take over the world!" ?

If so, you might want to go find a nice brown shirt to wear.

Or....you could think for yourself, and remember that our government is suppose to be "For The People. By The People."

Meaning the POTUS is a elected official, who should be listening to the people of his country.

Not telling us: "This is how it's going to be."

I mean, the only difference between him and Assad if he does this is: he hasn't gassed us yet if he continues down this road.

That's how dictators roll.

We should support our President, as our President should support us. Obama is a good president and i understand that every decision he makes will have opponents. The president is doing what he thinks is the best action for helping America to stay on her feet. If there was as much effort put in to making his plans work as resisting and negative carnival barking against them, we would find out what is what and learn from any mistakes we make along the way. Decisions have to be made, decisions in America's best interest, and he is good at that,
Good Times...

WE are not the managers of this state - he is. DO you really think the classified info he has should be public - at all??

Think he might know things we do not - isn't that the way it should be?? WE hired him to manage this.

You have the right to support anything you want, that is the beauty of been an American and having a constitution that believe it or now our corporate corrupted government has been working very hard to undermine.

Now with that out, just remember who is been financing Syrian rebels with US tax dollars, and remember to make a good research of who really are those rebels and from where they come from.

Also look at some of the threads specially the one that shows our hypocrite political rats having dinner with Assad when he was considered a Friend and use to follow the crap of the corporate interest in the nation due to briberies, when he decided to go against the corporate interest of the US he is now an enemy.

You have soo much to learn.

But is understandable, stay away from the corporate media and the propaganda and do your own research.

How is not supporting an elected president treason? You know your going against the basic freedoms that this country was founded on. People have every right to disagree or not support a decision made by our president or congress for that matter. The way you expect everyone to support a presidential decision is the way of dictatorships and communism. It's the vigilance and outspoken protest of a country's citizens that prevent tyrannical governments from forming.

Then I am. I am treasonous. But, if they lock me up they must also lock up the President.

If you really think the POTUS makes any sort of decision, you've been living under a rock.

Puppet in chief.

It's all precisely orchestrated to follow a specific agenda. I'm guessing this whole Syria thing has been planned for years.

Many German people supported Hitler as well.

Why?

German People's Support of Hitler The main reason is that Germany, at that point in time, needed change, and Adolf Hitler was symbolic of that needed change. www.123helpme.com...

Barack Obama is not the one who is running the show.

The White House has been captured by a group of people who are using him as their front man.

He is nothing but an empty suit.

If you really want to find out who is really controlling things, look behind the curtain

"We cannot understand the world until we appreciate that most leaders are traitors and that mankind is victim of a diabolical conspiracy on an unspeakable scale. It's time we stopped fighting each other and addressed the real enemy." ~ Henry Makow

I don't care who wins in Syria - this is not about Syria to me. It IS about avoiding a third world war which I think is eminent, closer than 2014 at this point.

It is about scaring potential opponents out of the water BEFORE this proxy war starts - because once it does start there is no backing down.

And it will end badly.
