Robert was 21, Nora was 17. They met on a blind date in 1942. The date must have went horribly because Nora swore that she would never go out with
Robert again. Robert, not taking "no" for an answer, persisted until Nora agreed to a second date.
Robert must've really made an impression on the second date as he and Nora eventually ended up eloping to Missouri to get married as Nora was too
young to be legally married in Illinois. And the rest is history.

This is what true love and marriage are all about. My great grandparents were married for 60 years. She was 11 years older than him. She passed first.
He passed a year later.
Couples like this should set an example for everyone else who decides to get married. Marriage should be for life, forever, until death do them part.
