Hi Guys,

One of my favourite bands Super Best Friends released a film clip for its new single 'Round and Round' which is garnering quite a bit attention. Why?

Because many of the leading figures in Parliament acting in it of course!

Kevin Rudd (PM), Tony Abbot (Opposition Leader), Anthony Albanese (Deputy PM), Sarah Hanson-Young (Greens Senator), and notable independents, Clive Palmer, Bob Katter, Rob Oakeshott and Nick Xenophon all have their moment.

A notable exclusion was Peter Garret, former Midnight Oil frontman who has recently left politics, declined.

The clip has since been featured on RAGE, Australias most well known music video programme in an election special hosted by some of the stars

Australia’s most prominent 2ICs: Deputy Prime Minister Anthony “Albo” Albanese, the Deputy Leader of the Opposition Julie Bishop and Dr Adam Bandt, the Deputy Leader of the Greens

An insight into how serious (read, nonchalant) Australian politics can be. Or maybe that they're... human?
