You think of yourself as a body then. Bodies die, the spirit doesn't.
John 8
12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
Matthew 6
22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

and lastly, there would have to be proof that L.Ron and Jesus both didnt exist...to decalre their religions invalid because they were based on a hoax
Both of them were real, lived and dies, and their followers started a relgion after them.
They are NOT hoaxes.
(Yay! Thats THREE for Jesus!)

Not to offend , but to see peoples points of view , for there is a mass turning away from Christianity and so this just to get a gauge what people think ..
For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 2 timothy 4:3

If Christianity was a hoax in what regard? There are many levels of Christianity. Perhaps Jesus didn't exist. Does that make the core teachings less valuable. No.
Perhaps Jesus wasn't really born of a virgin. Does that make his teachings less profound? No
Maybe he survived the crucifixion, and went to India, the Americas or even France, does make his life invalid? Nope.
Perhaps the biblical character of Jesus wasn't the Christ spirit in total. Does that mean that the earth doesn't have a guardian spirit, or an oversoul representing the essence of mankind to the "Elohim"? Nope.
90% of Christianity is valid without extreme mythology and apologetics, in my opinion. It would just manifest itself as more Taoist or Buddhist like, in my opinion.

NO...
Yet Christians believe they are one and the same... Some even go so far as to say Jesus was the OT God...
Which is just twisted... but whatever

LOL That is such a cop out, WW. If I create an all-powerful, glowing worm and tell people that this worm told me to love my neighbors, does that make the worm more valid or more believable?
