Were the two guys harassed, profiled, or just plain picked on..you decide...Filming of police actions to me should be required .....You confront a situation or a perp then click the recording device which also would have video and many of the gray areas will disappear as for as who says or did what..Of course the way it stands now just a bi-stander filming can be arrested which is usually thrown out of court; I think? .. Anyway the lawers are involved now so we will just have to wait and see how it all turns out....

Sicking abuse of police power. I never seen that cop reach out and get his hand slapped away.

So what if they had a grim expression, people are allowed to look any way they please.

Cops take note, if you follow someone around town, then proceed to follow them into a place of business, you are clearly starting crap.

I cant stand cops like this. Unfortunately cops will all cover each others rears. I doubt anything will come of this.

It's hilarious how they make a point to mention that hitting a cop is "assaulting a police officer" but don't mention that it was the police who started the assault. They are down playing this with the standard bs. about how these are good cops with good records etc.

I have a story to tell about two brothers that got into a fight when I was a teenager. They were drunk at the one brother's home and got into a fistfight on the front porch. At one point, one of them bumped into the wife of the one brother and knocked her off of the porch. She decided that she had enough of their antics at that point and called the State Police (this took place in a rural area).

The State Trooper showed up and hadn't even got out of his car when both brothers approached him, their T-shirts spattered with blood. He asked if he was at the address that had reported a fight. One brother told him if he got out of his car, he would be in the fight. He didn't get out of his car. He convinced the one brother to get in the car with him, whereupon he took him to the local bar and dropped him off.
Problem solved.
Yes, he dropped a visibly intoxicated man that was covered in blood off at a bar. The violence stopped. No one went to jail, no shots were fired, no need for handcuffs and no Taser deployed.
Even better, no court costs for anyone.

The cop didn't start the assault the kid did. He started it when he slapped the cops hand away. It's clear in the raw video.

The Push movement was an assault the guy merely defended himself .

Cops do not have a right to push or lay hands on you unless they are arresting you .

Assault is as little as a perceived threat the attitude and actions of the cops was assault from the beginning .

It could be said the kid was fearful of his safety because the cop got in his face and pointing. I Don't care who you are, if your menacing and instigating someone into an action, its deceptive and dirty.

The cops were probably looking for a fight and figured the black kids would oblige.

The problem with that line of thought (is) they would have been hunted down and even if they were the last ones standing from the initial engagement when the rest of the police tracked or showed up what do you think would have happen...

Headlines "Two men who attacked police officers were apprehended after Swat did a search of the neighborhood; one is recovering in the hospital in critical condition and the other fell down and hit his head and died at the screen".

Or something like that?

This will be taken to court and sorted out with no lss of life...I just hope the truth actually comes out either way.

Good cops? Their arrogance is palpable, even on video. Surprised he didn't end his question with "boy".

This is what picking a fight looks like.

It is fairly plain too see that these cops wanted to entertain themselves. The little feisty one looked as if he had been wanting to throw that combo all day. Cocky bastard.

Love those military issue-looking pants, boots, and haircuts. They look so snappy... and ready for action! I understand the need for spartan practicality in such a dangerous profession, but enough already. At least have a civilian haircut or let them have a friendly beard. Something that doesn't make them look like a cage fighter and an ss officer had a baby.

If I was to judge the situation in a court of law,ill say not guilty for the brothers........The minorities are in clear and present danger when is to deal with police profiling.
