This is going to get heavy fast, and i guarantee it will not be pretty. So i am just going to state at the beginning viewer beware as some of this is going to be quite graphic.

Footage has emerged of a horrific incident in northern Syria which reportedly shows the aftermath of an incendiary bomb being dropped on a school playground, leaving scores of children with napalm-like burns over their bodies.

Witnesses told a team from the BBC's Panorama programme that a fighter jet had repeatedly flown overhead, as if searching for a target, before dropping the bomb.

The attack killed more than 10 pupils and left many more seriously injured, the BBC said.

Footage showed adults and children, their clothes burned from their bodies, being treated on the floor of a basic hospital. Many had burns to more than 50% of their bodies, it was claimed.

Many were badly burned, shaking uncontrollably and left caked in a white substance, injuries which the BBC said suggested the bomb contained something like napalm or thermite.

The reporting is misquoting people..

IMO...

Not saying it didn't happen, but the reporting leaves me suspect of many things.

In any case barring my paranoia.. Is there a video? (clicked on bbc video)

I saw it earlier on B.B.C. but the eye witness didn't say the jet was one of Assad's, that was naturally assumed, it was seen to fly around as if looking for a target before hitting the school. There must be spy satellites above Syria, they would have detected the plane and would be able to identify where it took off from and landed.
The only reason anyone would do this is to get the West involved, the gas attack charade was quickly seen through so they upped the ante with Napalm. If this doesn't work what next?

I notice CNN hasn't picked it up, so i will just assume its not meant for an American audience yet.
Funny, looks like it happened two days ago.
Nicely timed for breakfast tea in England and America i would say.

Syria's opposition coalition said on Tuesday President Bashar Al-Assad's forces had dropped phosphorus bombs and napalm on civilians in rural Aleppo on Monday, killing at least 10 people and wounding dozens.

The alleged attack occurred as the US and its European and Middle Eastern partners honed plans to punish Assad for a major poison gas attack last week on the suburbs of the capital, Damascus, that killed hundreds of civilians.

Video footage uploaded on the Internet, apparently of Monday's attack, showed doctors frantically smearing white cream on the reddened skin of several screaming people, many of them young boys.

"Assad's military aircraft have hit populated areas with the internationally prohibited phosphorus bombs and napalm," the opposition coalition said in a statement.

I read the article over on the Guardian. From what I read, they have some kind of white stuff on them and were only really burned like mad, which is why they think it was napalm or something like it.

It's really something to behold, over all. It was dropped on a group of teenagers outside a school in the Northern part of the country by a fighter jet of some sort, from what I read.

Guess who doesn't have access, pretty much at all, to jets?

Rebels (FSA).

Guess what nationality the people that first broke the story were from what I saw?

British.

Guess what this little attack broke, literally, within a few hours of from what I saw?

The British Parliamentary (House of Commons) vote to NOT go into Syria.

Somebody is playing hardball. I don't know if it's covert ops desperate to get the West into Syria or if it's some crazy people in Asad's regime practically daring the UN to intervene, but somebody is playing hardball.

Is trade Arabia a Saudi network, or news company? I don't trust them to tell the truth about Syria. They are way more involved than Israel.

I am still wondering about a video if all the sources talk about one.

My guess is his brother Maher has lost it completely. They have already been blaming him for the attacks to begin with and he has a long history of violence. If he really lost his leg and the use of his arm then who knows how cracked he has become.

Here this seems to be the extent of it for video

Not as cracked as you to believe in horse crap. The timing makes no sense as per current statements.

Current statements of what exactly?
The US is still seeking a coalition to go into Syria regardless of the UN or the UK.
Looks like this is why.

This stinks, went to bed last night after the no vote and woke up to this, they were very busy little elves overnight. New "vote" to come I think, they are getting their war one way or another.

Now I see the video..

I have nothing more to say, except wow they think you are dumb.

Look at the blast and think for a good long time.

They included napalm but watch some videos of napalm (Vietnam - America).. Notice the size of burnt wall.. Notice the penetration of the rock on the ground..

Then explain why America hasn't said anything about this....

I was told about Syria being a target as a joke in 2006 in the Army. I'm not laughing.

Actually they never say it was dropped by a jet. That wasn't witnessed. Clever wording. They said they saw a jet above flying as if it were looking dor a target prior to the attack. They didn't say it was the jet. I douby a jet would drop that type of weapon personally, seems more suited for artillary. A jet could use a missile like they use on fsa generally and clear the area. So this is another dubious report.

If this was the work of Assad & Co., what do you all think the odds are that they may have been trying to make a strike on a rebel building and simply missed their target? I'm asking because it's not like the US is capable of target perfection (ask Iraq, or any given Afghani wedding party)

Regardless of the possibility, I had no idea anyone still used Napalm (if this was indeed Napalm)
I was under the impression that it was outlawed outright, so I was obviously in the wrong there.

....It was the name of the article in the Guardian.

Regardless, the video they claim is awfully short and i would agree that it wasn't actual napalm, so what was it? And was this part of the evidence that Obama just showed to Congress?

Yes this does appear to be the work of a missile dropped from an aircraft. Me things Ass-ad or a loose General or other Syrian regime faction is in fact putting 2 fingers up to the west! Brassy they are!! Now the votes against action. bad idea! Now we are saying its ok to gas kids!!! What have we become! We dont want war (nobody does!) but 100,000 dead, kids gassed. Why dont we just let the Syrian regime do what they like!

Ass-ad and his cronies need to lose their heads!!!

No I disagree with you. Kids were gassed by rebels. Now what should we do? give them more weapons and then bomb the people protecting the chemicals? Woow.. way to go.

Go bomb bush and his cronies instead.. You think 100,000 is a lot... Go to Iraq after America had it's way.

Or are you set with Bombing MORE people to lower the death toll?

The weapons have been moved, the army has largely withdrawn from all targets...they are just leaving empty buildings behind them. They have had days to hide everything and protect all their assets, now they want to bring it.
