Bizarre Zombie Fungus

The Zombie apocalypse has started, the mold spores have been released. Prepare accordingly

So what this video purports to shows is some super-phototrophic fungus going all crazy and dancing on a leaf.
A weird one for sure.

That literally gave me the chills! How do they know it's a fungus and not some living creature of some kind? Man that freaked me out! EEEEEW!

Of course you poke it with a stick. It's only natural. If it starts moving toward you though, you run like hell and scream!

So does anybody know what it is? I tried to find something resembling it online ~ for about an hour ~ but I just don't have any more time to devote to it. Intensely curious, though.

Idk how the jump to zombie fungus was made... but needless to say that guy had a bigger set then me because I know for damn sure I wouldn't have poked it and i guess should zombies become a rampant thing in that area, we'll at least know where to start for ground zero lol.

looks a bit like when loads of caterpillars those little small ones, hang on to a leaf they tend to stick out from it and jiggle about, looks so similar to that..
