"Save Post Temporarily" button : is there a need for it? Yes! What say you?

From what SO said I think the biggest issue is what recently happened to lavabit. If you have user content on your servers and the N$A comes knocking you are stuck between turning over content from your users and violating user trust or just having to shutdown and cease operation. Seems like an easy choice to me, as long as Springer wants to continue collecting ad revenue and having an awesome place for like minded individuals to congregate and share their stories and hold debates, whatever.

Thx for the input. IIRC, Firefox does just that.

I think I tend to use IE more on ATS because of the easier ability to make shortcuts to the desktop from links.

If IE has such a feature, could someone please let me know how to activate it?

OK - just tried it.

IE - Shortcuts to desktop will create a shortcut but will not somehow include anything you just enetered.

OK - tried Firefox.

Not sure why but Firefox doesn't have shortcuts but "Save As" work fine.

OK - this should work for me. No need for a "Save Post Temporarily" button.
