Is it because someone doesn't want the inspectors to see the crime scene?

It because the UN inspectors can find proof that it was not chemical weapons... the US already said they didn't want or need inspections because they already knew the truth, now it just so happens the rebels are trying to make it so the truth is never known...

I dont think the UN inspectors mind is made up at all. They did a good job last time when they concluded the Sarin use was probably actually the rebels (despite the same 'blame assad' rhetoric being used in advance of the inspection).
Its not in the interest of the rebels or thier backers for the UN inspectors to do thier job.

Sarin is a liquid form nerve agent it would need the right climate to vaporised into the air or a mid air explosion could cause the Sarin to be vaporised.
However the substances it very localised if it was exploded in mid air then the nerve agent would not be localised in that area so it could be an engineered explosion from say a mortar.
It could most be likely a rebel attack rather than a syrian military attack.edit on 26-8-2013 by deviant300 because: (no reason given)

Being in the UK, it sucks to realise i am on the wrong side of the fence. We are the bad guys, the illegal war mongers. Throwing our weight around and trying to act all high and mighty. Truth is that its very obvious to see whats going on, we have been here before. Same script but different country. The electorate are against action. I saw a poll posted on here some where (a different thread on syria but i forget which one) 71% of the electroate are against military action. Only 9% were in favour i believe. This is disgusting.
