hello

I saw these pics on another site and had never heard of this before

It's an underwater river in mexico yep an underwater river.. What?

A group of amateur cave explorers discovered a river in Mexico with banks, trees and leaves just like an ordinary river.

The cool thing is they were 25 feet above it in scuba gear when they discovered it.

The "river" is actually a briny mix of salt water and hydrogen sulfide. It's much more dense than regular salt water, so it sinks to the bottom and forms a distinct separation that acts and flows like a river.

If that is not cool enough while looking for more pics and info on this I ran across this video of a lake 650 feet below the sea with its own waves.

Even weirder, the lakes under the waves have waves of their own. Check out this video of scientists discovering the waves for the first time if you want to see something cool and hear what it sounds like when scientists lose their s%#t.

I realize these were discovered a while ago and some of you have probably seen them, but I have never seen them or even heard of it before and since I thought it was so cool I wanted to post it

Very cool. There is also said to be a tree somewhere in Mexico which makes girls pregnant. I've tried to find it on the Web but have had no luck so far.

Another important thing to note is that there are rivers in the ocean which flow "beneath" the currents if I'm not mistaken. There are hills somewhere in California where objects roll uphill. There are tons of mysteries in the world. This underground river is so cool though.

Reminds me of the Meeting of Waters in Brazil. Two rivers that run side by side but never mix.
