I grow my own now. When you buy the E-cigs, those doses of nicotine are processed somewhere.

Well I guess I will jump in one more time to say this:
Don't want to be exposed to tobacco smoke - don't go to places where people smoke!
At the end of the day - not matter how rational the arguements of the zealots may seem and no matter how much bought and paid for "science" they produce. Here is the end result"
1. The disease burden of no disease has decreased as a result of a now 50 year old anti-smoking campaign. In fact, our children have gotten sicker and sicker with asthma and allergies, autism and ADD type disorders. In fact, our children are so medicated, they barely have the time to be children anymore.
2. People are living in fear of death and disease. We are the baby boomer generation. We were born to smoking mothers and living in smoking households. We grew up and became smokers ourselves. To date - the baby boomers are the longest lived and healthiest generation the world has ever known. This is not due to exposure to tobacco but rather to public health for their services in cleaning up the water supply with chlorine, treating sewage instead of just discharging to sewers, vaccines and antibiotics. Our food supply is also cleaner, of higher quality and quantity. Despite being born with a life expectancy of about 65-70 years, most of us will live to 75 - 85 years and more of us will live to see 100 than any previous generation. And yet....we live in constant fear of death and disease!
3. Smokers are being dehumanized. We are called filthy, stinking, selfish, stupid. We are told we deserve to be financially raped. We are not fit to socialize anywhere in public. We don't even deserve the dignity of shelter from the elements that the laws demand we must provide to dogs. Our old people have frozen to death in the snow. We are being evicted from our homes. Denied equal custody of our children and the right to nurture adopted and foster children. We are being denied necessary medical treatment. And should we become dependent on the state, in a hospital, mental ward, prison or hospice, we are subjected to forced medical treatment in the form of smoking cessation.
4. The next step after dehumanization, the step that always follows after dehumanization ....is violence. We are now seeing laws being passed to ban smoking in public and state parks. There is no intention on the part of the government to enforce these laws. Instead, citizens are being encouraged to "confront" smokers.
There are commercials and posters that subtly encourage such violence (one showed a smokers punching himself in the face). I have seen smoke portrayed as snakes and cockroaches in commercials and in posters.
Please understand - it is NOT smokers who are selfish. It is anti-smoking zealots! They are the ones who demand that ALL hospitality venues MUST be non-smoking. And once they succeed, they then demand that ALL outdoor spaces MUST be non-smoking. These demands are not based on health. If the public wanted hospitality venues to be non-smoking, then they would have stopped patronizing the hospitality venues. They would have voted with their dollar. And the hospitality venues would have responded by making their venue non-smoking.
These changes were demanded only by the zealots.
However, I have studied my history. There is a 400 year history of anti-smoking zealotry. Smokers have been executed, imprisoned and had hot lead poured down their throat. In the era of prohibition, it is little known but an anti-smoking zealot by the name of Lucille Gaston Page. She managed to get tobacco sales banned in 17 states. She even ran for president based on her popularity. Ironically, she died of throat cancer, just like the Marlboro man.
And within 10 years, the laws were all repealed! And smoking become more popular then ever!

Let us also no forget that what Hitler did to smokers is the exact same thing that anti-smokers are doing now! The same bans on public transportation, on park benches, on the sale of tobacco to woman etc etc etc. All based on the theory that passive smoke causes disease in exposed non-smokers.
Now just how did he know that passive smoking causes diseases in non-smokers. I thought all that passive-smoking research that was done in the 1960s and 1970s is what finally proved it?????

The zealots have come for the Sexualy liberated, You could be classed as moraly insane and sent to the Asylum if you were a Prostitute at the turn of the last century, not to mention being homosexual. then they came for the Drinkers, then they came for the Mary Jane smokers, then they came for the Nicotine smokers. The fact is that they are getting off on some sort of "negative denial buzz" Before that they even closed down coffee houses as places of perdition. Zealots just don't like people enjoying themselves period.

It's not the tobacco or the nicotine that kills smokers. It's the hundreds of chemicals they add to enhance flavor, improve safety, and maximize profits.
And it's allowed because it pads the coffers of those who allow it...the government and big pharma. It's pretty obvious that big tobacco is in cahoots with big pharma and the government and like poisoning us with their "tastier," "safer,"and "improved" products and then taxing us for our bad habits. It's a cash cow for them all and they have each others' backs.
The government and big pharma protect big tobacco because they make money off the poison ka-ching $$. Big pharma loves you sick ka-ching $$ and the government loves to tax you ka-ching $$.
Tobacco and probably big pharma lobbyists in return stuffs the pockets of lawmakers for the protection, all the while also using social pressure and mindwashing to ostracize and use others to ostracize and shame and vilify the very people they are robbing blind, people who are purchasing a perfectly legal product. Clever racket. They should get these people on RICO.
Logically illogical. Illogically logical.
That's true, in Russia at one time tobacco had to be kept chilled because it would get mould due to the lack of additives. But as far as growing tobacco goes it is quite easy, the processing is slightly more difficult. But I came across what seemed to be a French method. You get a big pot, add molasses honey and whisky or brandy then water, heat it up to simmer, and simmer the tobacco leaves for twenty minutes, then take them out and dry them, then they are ready for smoking. You can then shred or compress. Smokers are really getting ripped off for something that is simpler than growing tomatoes.
