I have no scotch in the flat, It has been tipped down the sink and it felt good doing it

I'll let you all know how it goes tomorrow

Well that's it, the first night sober in 23 years

I won't pretend I slept well but I did it, and yes I know it's long long road, but the first step has been taken.

Thanks it came about after I flew to France to meet
Rodinus, afterva drunken heart to heart I somehow
knew it wad time to lay off the scotch.

you thought I was drunk all this time

No that's just my sense of humour,I never drank before
5 pm and always (mostly) signed off when the drink kicked in.
So don't worry I won't change, the problem was that come
10pm I was 1/2 a litre of scotch down.

So sillyness will continue unabated
