Manifesting Thoughts and The Illusion of Reality

Have you ever wondered how great it would be if you could manifest your heart's desires from your thoughts?

Nine out of ten people have a problem with manifesting because they only see it in flashes.

Remember the last time you manifested a moment of sheer coincidence, luck or synchronicity?

Have you ever received a surprise check in the mail, just when you needed money? I have.
Have you ever run into an old friend you haven't seen for awhile after thinking about them? I have.
Have you had a soul mate step into your life, just when you needed someone most. I have.

That was your mind power at work. A moment when your thought vibrations aligned with the universe, and materialized your thoughts into your reality.

But why does this power leave as suddenly as it appears?
Could be you’re not looking at the big picture.

A point to consider:

What if reality as you know it is just an illusion?
I had this thought come to me when I was in my teens, long before I had ever heard anything about a holographic universe, or that our world is just an illusion created by us. Where did these thoughts come from?

In the early 1960′s, Quantum Physicist David Bohm and Neuroscientist Karl Pribram theorized we live in a Holographic Universe. According to this theory, the world we live in is in fact an elaborate 3D hologram projected by our minds.

When I read this, it blew my mind! It took me back to my memories of wondering if this was possible, or was I just having insane thoughts? But, there it was in black and white, written by two Quantum Physicists!
Well... that made me feel better.

According to this theory, outside of our minds, the world is made up of pure energy and vibrations created by us. Which means everything is simply an illusion, just as my thoughts way back there in my teens told me it could be!
I'm a genius, and I didn't even know it!

What does this have to do with manifesting?

Bohm and Pribram claim that the Holographic Universe theory perfectly explains the existence of countless phenomena like ESP and psychic abilities. Out of body and near-death experiences. Psychokinesis. The placebo effect. Mind-body healing. And the ability some people have to manifest their desires out of thin air.

Have you ever wondered how some people can seemingly manipulate reality, and accomplish the impossible?

Think about scientific geniuses who change the course of history, like Edison and Einstein.
Or creative visionaries like Da Vinci and Shakespeare. Or athletes who defy our physical limitations, like Michael Jordan and Lance Armstrong.

Would you like to learn how to manifest your wishes into reality?

Here are a few tips as you venture toward consciously manifesting.
1) Know that you unconditionally deserve love, attention and miracles because you are a perfect creation of God.

2) Find time to be quiet. Amidst the clutter and chatter of our minds and everyday life, it is very difficult to listen to the gentle messages that our soul gives us. Many people have lost touch with the inner direction that we are constantly afforded. It is then no surprise that we do not know what our true desires are. We are then left to listen to the constant demands of the ego, which eventually leaves us disappointed and feeling empty. Throughout the day remember to breathe and remember your Spirit. When you enter any formal manifesting visualization, do exercises to clear your mind, focus your thoughts, and relax your body.

3) Instead of getting caught up in what you have created in the past, and the past started just one second ago, you can work on releasing any of the pain you may have experienced and decide right now, at this moment, to start creating more of what you want in life. You don't have to seek anyone's approval or permission in order to claim your Divine Birthright. Your divine inheritance is abundance, peace, and your ability to create what you want. Your soul knows that these things make up it's true existence. Choose now to accept these things as being part of existence at the personality level. For as you bring more of these qualities into your own life, you will be serving the Divine by making it easier for others to follow your example.

4) It is important to set goals. Discover what you specifically want to create in your life that serves to bring you joy while serving others in some capacity. Do not focus on what you don't want or want to get rid of in your life. Remember, what you put your attention on grows. However, be a little flexible and allow the Universe to guide you along paths that may bring you more than you have asked for. It is perfectly natural for goals to change and evolve as you grow and evolve.

5) Visualize it and experience the feelings like it that have already happened to you. Remember that we operate within the time/space illusion. However, within our Sacred Space there is no such illusion.

6) Continue to send it positive energy. Outside your meditation times, you can focus on your goals in a clear and relaxed way during parts of your day. It's important not to feel like you are striving too hard for it, or put an excessive amount of energy into it…, which tends to hinder things rather than help.

7) Let it go. Let go of your desire to control or affect the specific outcome. Once you get an intuitive feeling that it is developing into a certainty, stop asking for it. Develop a faith that the universe immediately conspires to construct your vision, which happens in a way and a time that is for your highest good. We need to recognize that our attachments to the outcome comes from our ego. Our soul intuitively knows that we are never separate from our creator, and everything we need is streaming toward us…now and forever.

8) Be aware of the guidance you are receiving that follows the manifesting process, and be willing to follow it. If you are feeling stuck, ask yourself, "What guidance have I received that I'm not following?". Guidance comes in so many different ways which usually follows a pattern, such as "stumbling" across a book at the right time, a message that directly speaks of your condition unknowingly delivered by a friend, stranger, a song, etc.

9) Be Grateful. Many of us don't stop to recognize the blessings we have in our lives in this moment, and acknowledge that what we have in our lives right now has been created by us. When we put our energy into recognizing our gratitude, we honor the creative process that we are a part of, and develop a sense of reverence for everything in our lives. Gratitude raises our energy to a higher vibration, thereby, enhancing our ability to manifest.

10) Don't be afraid to ask for help and guidance from the spiritual masters that you relate to, such as Angels, Jesus, Buddha, God or Goddess, etc.. Think of yourself as a team member within the spiritual realm. All members of that team are working and helping to achieve a common goal.

11) Remember, everything you need to fulfill your purpose is inherently in your reality right now. Be patient and loving to yourself as you discover your power and connection to everything. Most importantly, remember that your soul can not fail!

The LAWMAN is here, says TridentBlue in a Johnny Cash voice.

But what is the law? Clearly there is a power in human beings to manifest things, but that power is limited. For instance, desire is an affirmation of lacking something. Want nothing, and all things will be given to you. But to want something is to affirm the lack of it. Thus, how will you get it, if our minds create reality through our affirmations?

The facts are, these powers the OP talks about are nothing new. They go back to the times of the Buddha, to the yogis of old. And all them, being wise, threw earthly desires out the window that all things may be given unto them, in earthly or transcendent forms. But are we, in this desire-centric society willing to throw everything we want out the window and just be? It seems to be a tall order in the current world.

PEace!

I believe what the OP said. I witness it daily and I am trying to learn how it works by observing small moments in the day. Somedays we are late for work, we always get that red light, when you show up at a drive though 5 cars magically show up in front of you and order everything, and behind you nothing. You are late for work, the days doesnt go your way. I am sure we all been there.

I have come to understand that seconds can determine the fate of the day or your life. Like the head on collision you hear or see on the news. It only took one guy to screw up to hit the other innocent driver. How could that have been avoided considering the head on collision could of been avoided by a mere milliseconds. If any of those drivers spent or gave 1 second in either direction in the morning like getting up a little early, skipping that morning smoke, or stopping for a moment to give a loved one a hug or tell them you love them this alone could change the world.

I believe that everyone has the ability for perfection in each day. It is our "Sins" whether physical or mental that may set you off that course of perfection and synchronicity available to us all.

Thank you to everyone for your response.

I still don't have anyone coming forth with a story, so I'll give one of my own. I've told this a few times in different threads, so some of you may remember it.

I wrote a book back in the late 1990's about a woman who lived in our area. I was also posting pictures from this woman's early life. There was one I needed, but no family member had one. I knew someone had it because I was told about it.

One day a few weeks later I attended a fall festival in my hometown. I was standing in the field listening to the great music when a lady walked up to me that I didn't know.
She introduced herself to me and said she heard about my book and wanted me to be sure to mail her one once I had it done.

During our small talk, I mentioned the picture I had been searching for with no luck.
Then she said, "Oh, I have that one. I'll mail you a copy when I get home."
You could have knocked me over with a feather!

She came all the way to Tennessee from another state up north to attend this festival. And I lived out of town, about an hour's drive away.
What are the chances of us meeting up at a place so far away from where we both live, and her finding me in the large crowd of people, and the picture coming up in the conversation? And she had it!

I had been asking God and my angels to lead me to this picture for weeks because the book was about to be sent to the printer.
When I had just about given up on finding it...
Poof! There it is, laid in my lap!

I have always believed reality follows consciousness.
The way I sustain it is by having a pattern of thought, a default attitude, or mantra.
Mr. and Mrs. tanda equate it with flexing a mental muscle, in reverse. Impossible for me to explain without sounding crazy. For us, the key is understanding how internal dialogue "tints" reality. Control the internal dialogue, influence the reality.

Does anyone else have a similar story to share?
I was given a demo tape for a band that blew me away. I asked everyone I knew if they could help me find info about this band and for a few years I could find nothing. No one, anywhere had ever heard of them. I started to develop a mythos in my mind about the band. I gave up looking for them.
One night, during a party, I popped the tape into the player and a lady said " hey, these guys are my friends"
Over the next hour she told me everything I could ever want to know about this band, complete with video of her giving them haircuts and contact info. A few years later their songs started showing up on youtube;www.youtube.com...

I was sitting in an underground bar (speakeasy) in New York, a place called "Save the Robots". I was running out of money and options. I needed a ride to New Orleans real bad. To my left I heard someone say "do y'all have bud lite?" and I knew that accent was southern, the next day I was riding in the backseat of a yellow Cadillac headed for New Orleans.

I could say that I believe in manifestation. I find that making lists and keeping them hidden from myself has been the most effective way for me to get what I want. I make the list, I forget about it and when I achieve what I wanted, I am reminded of the item I was going for.

If I was actively working toward my goals, I would give myself and my hard work the full credit..... however....(and this is the strange part that has me somewhat convinced), I get what I put down on the list without my own conscious efforts to get it. The thing is....the item is never 100% of what I asked for. It's usually either about 85% of what I wanted, or it exceeds my expectations in some ways even if it wasn't exactly what I thought I wanted. Maybe my power to visualize isn't where I'd like it to be, but I can honestly say that the number of times this has happened is now beyond coincidence.

That was your mind power at work. A moment when your thought vibrations aligned with the universe, and materialized your thoughts into your reality.

Do you dismiss the misfortune of others as just people who have poor thought vibrations?

Also, I wonder why the impoverished of the world are unable to manifest food with their thought vibrations? Is it poor people attract poor results?

Hi sled.

I don't know how, who, or what made you think as you do now?
but for me, the first 2 lines of my signature are what made me
change my way of thinking, acting, and seeing the world !!

Think about the "placebo effect" and the "random generators",
and we have the proofs that the mind DOes act on the matter ! !
. . .and by extension. . .acts on the events. . .! !

Hi, NBF.

Is it poor people attract poor results?

No, because for most of them it's not their fault.
BUT,
! ! ! poor thinking/intentionning attracts poor results ! ! !

Blue skies.

I can't answer that; I have no idea what state of mind these people are in. But, certainly, the law of attraction is at work.
I think once someone gets "down on their luck", their thoughts are more on the negative circumstances surrounding their life, and this in turn attracts more "bad luck", or keeps them in a bad place until the cycle is broken.

Are the manifestations of a successful criminal the result of positive thinking, even if he goes beyond the law and risks, and sometimes takes, the lives of people?

Are you saying that people starving in the Sudan would be better off if they started thinking positively? Perhaps even get some food out of it?

It could be possible, I suppose, if the entire group meditated on it every day.

But, IMO, there are other things that have to be taken into consideration, at least with my personal beliefs.

If person believes in reincarnation, then they could have chosen those struggles to learn a certain lesson in this lifetime.
There are many things to consider as to why we are where we are in life. But, I do strongly believe in the power of the mind to create the outcome we seek.
Maybe this is why they are in that situation; to learn how to use the power of their mind?

I'm quite sceptical of your ideas here, and I think that reducing poverty, famine, war, torture, etc. to "negative thoughts" is very dangerous, if not outright deceptive. It makes the victim responsible for the crimes committed against them, and absolves the criminals of such crimes of any wrong doing. When someone is raped it isn't because of their negative thought vibrations.

That is my opinion at least.

you dont have to "second guess"..
we already have all the sources that tell us how reality works...

but its your believe that mirrors if those sources exist for you.

or are frauds.

give it a chance and stop "believing"...

I'm not disagreeing with you on that subject.
This thread is about LEARNING to use the power of the mind to manifest your desires.
That doesn't imply, in any way, that people are victimized because they desired it. And as for the poverty, famine, war, torture, etc... As I said earlier, I think some of these situations have to do with karma, and reincarnation. That, too, is a different topic for a different thread.

This thread is about LEARNING to use the power of the mind to manifest your desires.

If that is the case, I then have to wonder what powers of the mind you are talking about. I have yet to see any verifiable powers of the mind in anyone, save perhaps the ability to reason and articulate thought into language and creativity. Is there any example outside of the realm of coincidence that you could provide that may help the uninitiated to understand what powers of the mind you and others are speaking about in this thread? I have looked and observed my whole lfie and have seen no reason to believe the universe is changing for anyone.

Most of what I've read here can can be chalked up to mere coincidence, and something that is looked at in retrospect as something special. I don't see how thinking about a few incidences of coincidence as the universe synchronizing with anyone's thoughts. What about the rest of the time when the universe is indifferent?

I mean it just seems so strange and opens up too many questions for me. Like how does the universe choose what to give to whom and when? What if one desires another person yet that person desires another? What if two people desire the same thing? What can one desire and what can one not desire? Can one desire to be without desire? Who wins in this cosmic push and pull?

But if by "LEARNING to use the power of the mind to manifest your desires" simply means think and go after what one wants, I don't see it necessary to put a mystical spin on it.

It really sounds cool, but coincidentally, or maybe even synchronistically, it sounds like a farce these folks are using to sell merchandise and to sound profound. What am I missing here?
