the US navy and coast guard make maritime drug interdictions and bring the seized drugs back to the US all the time.

If the drugs are seized in international waters its always brought back to the US because of cases where the drugs were turned over to other countries and there corrupt officials put it back into the drug pipeline.

Coca Cola still uses coca leaves in it's soda. In fact, they are the largest importer of coca leaves.

The thing is, they take the active drug out of the leaves and use them only for "taste".

Where the actual drugs go after they process the leaves....?

I call BS on that simple fact people don't need a prescription to by a 20oz or a 2 liter.;

Once upon a time: YES

Today: NO.

No, you don't need a prescription for a 2 liter, because the leaves are processed and the active drug is removed:

Approximately 100 metric tons of coca leaves are imported to the Stepan Company each year under "special permission" from the DEA.....

Once the coca leaves are imported into the USA under these special permissions from the DEA, the coc aine is extracted out of the coca leaves. Coca-Cola doesn't use the coc aine, you see. There is no coc aine in Coca-Cola today.

This brings up an obvious question: Where does all the white powder coc aine go if not to Coca-Cola? It turns out that this coc aine is sold to a St. Louis company called Mallinckrodt Incorporated.

No the best part of the story I read was that they got an incinerator.
But they were burning so much coke that the agents were getting high and had to stop.
lol

I wouldn't doubt this a single bit, lol. A lot of people have said in the past that George Dubya, had a massive coc aine addiction and had to be treated at least more than once.

Sigh You see where it says, "Natural Flavor" on the ingredient list?

Here's it from Wikipedia (as I'm unsure of Natural News as a source):

Coca-Cola includes as an ingredient a coca leaf extract prepared by a Stepan Company plant in Maywood, New Jersey.[2] The facility, which had been known as the Maywood Chemical Works, was purchased by Stepan in 1959.[3] The plant is the only commercial entity in the USA authorized by the Drug Enforcement Administration to import coca leaves, which come primarily from Peru. Approximately 100 metric tons of dried coca leaf are imported each year. The coc aine-free leaves are sold to The Coca Cola Company, while the coc aine is sold to Mallinckrodt, a pharmaceutical firm, for medicinal purposes.[4]

Wikipedia

Anytime you see "Natural Flavor" it could be just about anything. From a legal standpoint:

"The term natural flavor or natural flavoring means the essential oil, oleoresin, essence or extractive, protein hydrolysate, distillate, or any product of roasting, heating or enzymolysis, which contains the flavoring constituents derived from a spice, fruit or fruit juice, vegetable or vegetable juice, edible yeast, herb, bark, bud, root, leaf or similar plant material, meat, seafood, poultry, eggs, dairy products, or fermentation products thereof, whose significant function in food is flavoring rather than nutritional."

Why do you think drugs are still illegal? As long as drugs are still illegal (Cannabis, coc aine, opium for example) agencies in this country will sell it in mass quantities to cover their expenses.

Mmmmm... Look at all that opium in Afghanistan. No wonder were still there.

Busted! But we have been doing at least since Ollie North and Iran-Contra. Goverments in general have been involved in the drug trade since the British Empire was in China (Boxer Rebellion) and maybe even before with the colonialization of the New World.

I don't care the only thing people want to hear in this thread is:

Oh damn look here Air Force running drugs !

Oh damn look here this story reaffirms their already preconceived opinions about the CIA.

Whatever people.

Since the only thing people want to hear is:

Bad Air Force !
Bad CIA !

There you go people.

Happy now ?

Funny how you love the government when it suits your agenda.

Yes...Yes...VERY Happy.

...and you will not rain on this parade no matter how hard you try.
Why?...because they've gotten away with it for far too long. When someone gets caught, we will gloat... and we will gloat about gloating... and then we will gloat some more.

Why did you even try?

Why WOULD you even try?

You like crooks? Ok.

Not everybody likes these crooks and those who don't will probably never shut up about it until every last one of us is silenced by the government... which will only produce more of us.

If we want to fight some kind of war on drugs, then the first thing we need to do is make young people aware, before they get started, that drugs from other countries are ALLOWED to be brought here by the government... so doing drugs is no way to buck the system. It is actually becoming a SLAVE to the system. Why do you stand in the way of spreading this badly needed information to the people?

well now, there's nothing quite like the path from Mena to Miami (and all those locations in between) ... for some 4 or 5 decades now ... why is this 'news' to anyone ??
consider this nothing more than the Clinton family business "outsourcing"
really.

The Drug War is just a phoney money-grubbing profiteering scam. That much is obvious by now. What more is there to say? Get government out of the illicit business or at least legitimize it.

The Drug War was never about stopping illicit drug traffic. It has always been about controlling illicit drug traffic. Obvious?

Ok I will have at it:

The OIJ further explained that officials in Costa Rica had spoken to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) about the temporary lack of an incinerator to destroy seized powder coc aine, marijuana and other illegal drugs. Prior to the massive airlift of coc aine to Miami in late July, the OIJ had managed to destroy almost 23 tons of drugs over the years at a cement factory in Cartago, but a couple of unfortunate incidents resulted in the stockpiling of confiscated drugs, and the OIJ ended up with too much coke. - See more at: qcostarica.com... aine-to-miami/#sthash.TerLWoeC.dpuf

Gonna love watching this get spun as the 'CIA is running drugs dogma'.

Why not just dump it into the sea?

Why gas up a plane, and take it to America?

Seriously......

First good question of this entire thread ?

Why indeed?

Because of corruption

uly 30th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Under tight security and in complete secrecy, the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ) transported nearly 24 tons of coc aine to the Liberia airport, which was loaded onto a U.S. Air Force plane to be transported to Miami, Florida for destruction. The coc aine had been seized over the course of the last two years during anti-drug operations in the country.

insidecostarica.com... aine-at-liberia-airport/

Nobody cares though hell then entire cental American so called governments are corrupt as they come if they have to fly them out of the country to destroy them that is a tell tale sign of just how bad things are there.

Costa Rica has become a new hotspot distribution hub where local authorities can't keep up by a myriad of complications.

Back to Bad Air Force !
Bad CIA.
