Oh no, I meant that they just say he will be somewhere but is really safely hidden somewhere else. Why announce to the world where the the POTUS is? Especially when there is a threat.

Thank you!! I just noticed CNN reported the same reference to the importance of Aug.4th to Islam, and an oppt'y for radical militant terrorists to do something "big". Not my word, as reported by Wolfe Blizter from a source of his. According to Rep. Peter King, the threat leaves "very little doubt" it's "Something Serious".

So with that said, all one can surmise is that in this case, sufficient, credible and actionable intelligence has been learned (according from sources: From months of putting information and intelligence together from many variable sources and then collaborating them.) and unless or until we learn more, it's gonna be a wait and see situation. I do find it interesting that Home Land Security Agency has remained relatively quiet. Not sure to make of that, except that they are certain that whatever is potentially being planned is not domestic, but overseas.

Not that I trust what's being spewed out of CNN, but i'm not gonna be the one not taking it serious when fit hits the shan. Just sayin.

I think they are planning on invading Syria this month and this is proactive for their worries of retaliation of that action. This is pure conjecture, just how it seems to me.

This is what they would do if they were going to invade Syria. The # will fly if America invades another country over there, particularly within the region, and it has long been standard procedure to close foreign embassies at risk prior to planned wars being undertaken.

Also possible it may indicate that Iran is going to get hit.


add: the more I think about it, the more I think Iran's nuclear facilities are going to be attacked. Setting a wide ranging close down and warning of a month is how the military proceeds when it is going to attack but doesn't want to announce the exact time or day of the attack. Remember, they did that with both Iraq wars.

Wow, be careful my friend!! This seems to be a very volatile time. I'm sure you'll be ok, but just use your common sense and keep informed.

^^^Regarding the above comments regarding Syria. I understand your thoughts......but it is my opinion that this current terror level warning has nothing to do with Syria, meaning the U.S. attacking. Unfortunately, as you've seen the current administration if reluctant to get 'overtly' involved, so much so, they left our Americans to die for more than 13 hours in Benghazi. And to date, nothing has been done to catch those terrorists. Although CNN seems to be able to have a nice cup of tea with them. Just my opinion. This situation is something different....and hopefully NOW, with ALL of the global attention given to it.....the extent of the terror has been deterred, deferred or all together thwarted. Only time will tell. Peace!!

Absolutely. Sadly, the average Joe just doesn't seem to get it.

i am planning on going to san francisco from europe mid-month.
i have no fear of any of this scare-mongering but i wonder what kind of real
restrictions will be in place by then. damn it anyway. now i don't know whether
to book my flight or not.

i do believe that something monumental is going on behind the scenes
and i am of the mind that it could very well be for the betterment of us all.

nothing is to be taken at face value from any 'news' received via the main stream media.
i like to think that the best way to proceed with any m.s.m. reports
is on a 'black is white' basis.

going by this maxim, it seems that everything regarding the world and it's
near future is rosy indeed.
