I suck at WoT so you've probably waxed me a few times... if you ever goto the regular random matches that is. Before that, WoW had me 'til some hacker took weird offense to something and chased me off the server... nicest thing anyone's ever done for me, even with the intrusions.

Social media, not so much...

But CoD MW gets me sometimes- before all that, Doom, cigarettes, music, women and painkillers... and the occasional 15 to 20 drinks... sigh.

Now it's coffee... just coffee... and the occasional multiplayer game... and, well, ATS... and e-cigs (or traditional ones when nobody's looking).

Addictions are so ... addicting.

I am stuck on level 20 until one more person gives me a ticket.I believe this
game to be rigged and completely unfair. My favorite level right now is 9,I keep
playing it over and over again.Tasty, sweet, sugar crush.

What in the world are you talking about? Candy crush is terrible.
You can't even compare that game to anything tangible.
Reading a book is more valuable to any human that can read!
Comprehension increases as does intelligence.
Brain teasers, sudoku, crosswords, all have positive effects on the brain.
Building things in a shed is not pointless at all.
Matter of fact the point is to benefit someone or create an object.

Candy Crush, in particular, is a pointless game.
I am not knocking all video games, just that one.
There is absolutely no benefit to playing that game.

If mama wants to achieve level 253 and beat another player, thats her gig.
I just don't see the point.

Much rather read a book.
Or read and post on ATS.

Mamabeth you are one of the more intelligent posters here, in my humble opinion.
I believe it's due to the fact that you use your brain, with puzzles, and it shows.
Now why you are letting a silly game detract from your daily life...I'll never know.
But it's just a game and it's your liberty to do as you please.

So enjoy it and have fun!

PS: To clear things up, I downloaded that game for about ten minutes before deleting it. Upon playing it, I realized there is no end result. The premise of the game is to buy more lives, or wait for them to regenerate, which is a cheap marketing ploy. Plus the music and voices were remarkably droning. Almost hypnotic. I didn't like it one bit. And I enjoy a good game once in a while. But not that type.

No worries Mama, my wife plays that, as well as a few others on there like they breathe extra life into her

When it flashes at you don't always do what it is suggesting. In the short
time that I have been playing,I find myself scoring better if I take the time
to really study the board.

A recovering FFXI addict here. I literally pissed away a huge chink of my life on that game. I was part of an elite endgame linkshell, most of them were japanese people. Needless to say, I was staying awake at all odd hours being that I lived in the US. I guess being the character in the game, was a lot better than being me. One good thing I can say about the whole ordeal, was that had it not been for that game at the time, I would have blown my brains onto the ceiling. I guess in that one sense it was a good thing, as sad as that is

Candy crush is evil. I am stuck on I think it is level 119. Been over 30 days now

And I thought tetris friends was bad

At least I am good enough now, that I have only one hour per day that I allow myself to indulge in selfish crap like games, TV etc. The bad thing, it is a pain in the ass to split up movies like that
Good thing I am selective about the movies I download

I am sorry but I am a 58 year old granny and I didn't understand
your post at all. What is MMO?

The ultimate of all videogame crack. It seems nice at first, you meet people, have fun, accomplish rewarding task. Then after the years passed by, you realize it's a never ending treadmill. Your chasing that carrot that dangles in front of you, but no matter how close you get, you'll NEVER get it.
