Just because you don't want to believe it's true doesn't make it false. It's been pretty much confirmed that everything he said is true. Also why else would the government try so hard to get Snowden back on U.S. soil? But you know you can go back to your bubble, stick your fingers in your ears and sing "la la la" and pretend that the U.S. government is looking out for your best interests. Everyone else here has already accepted reality and wants to put an end to this atrocity.

In your opening post aren't you missing the point of the information (see second paragraph of the first link you have quoted from) you have linked to? It questions the fact that America still has the death penalty and still has dubious rendition operations. Are you so ashamed Obama hasn't repealed the death penalty, or is this just another post to try and blame Obama for American politics that have been around for generations?

Did Obama say he would repeal the death penalty? If he did, would you have agreed with that?

Snowden really aught to encrypt all his files, hand out the password to a confidant, and put it out on bittorrent as an insurance policy.
