I think that those are the people that seem content to let things happen to them, rather than making things happen that they want. For some reason, and I know you and I can't understand it because we're not like that, they just don't give a damn. I had a few students like that, they went through the motions, put in minimum effort, and didn't seem to mind when they failed. I guess they didn't really want to be in college, or else they didn't put two and two together, to understand the consequences down the road.
