I must have done something wrong. I tried to "divinate" my name, Charles, and I got a whole long list of people who were also named Charles. Valuable as a history lesson, no doubt, but beyond that not so much.

Dear Wifibrains,

You're right, that's what it took. Well, my signature says I'm not the sharpest bulb in the drawer.

So, what have I got? A scorched leash. (char) (les) For a minute I was hoping for a plate of scorched cookies, or meat, but you can't argue with the kingdom within you, can you?

With respect,
Scorched leash 1952

Yeah but unfortunately, one of my options is to be a ghost, LOL. I've never heard of any other name that could be interpreted as a supernatural entity or creature! With the exception of a crazy woman I know named Lamia, which means vampire in Greek...and the name fits her pretty darn well, LOL.

I don't quite get it.

How am I supposed to do this???

I'm damn curious...lol SO I'll attempt it...

Daniel:
In the Bible, a Hebrew prophet of the sixth century b.c.
Hebrew: God is my judge
1. (Christian Religious Writings / Bible) Old Testament
a. a youth who was taken into the household of Nebuchadnezzar, received guidance and apocalyptic visions from God, and was given divine protection when thrown into the lions' den
b. the book that recounts these experiences and visions (in full The Book of the Prophet Daniel)
2. (often preceded by a) a wise upright person
[sense 2: referring to Daniel in the Apocryphal Book of Susanna]

a. a Hebrew prophet during the Babylonian captivity.
b. the book of the Bible bearing his name.

wise and upright judge; "a Daniel come to judgment" -- Shakespeare
- an Old Testament book that tells of the apocalyptic visions and the experiences of Daniel in the court of Nebuchadnezzar

Roy-Austral slang a trendy Australian male

Roy is a common surname in India, France, Scotland and many English-speaking countries. In India, it is an anglicized version of Roy Chowdhary or Rai Chowdhary, also written as Ray. The name comes from the same root as the Sanskrit word Raj, which is also the root of the Latin word rex (king), English reign and royal, all of which stem from the common Proto Indo-European ancestor language. In French, "Roy" means King.

Kangas
Finnish: from kangas ‘pine heath’, a habitational name from a farmstead so named; traditionally this was convenient terrain for siting a farm, and the oldest holdings date back to the medieval period.

Dunno if I did that right, I had to google some of it...lol

I find the supernatural aspect to be pretty cool. It would depend how you interpret the word I suppose. Remember you are divining yourself.

Hi darkblade,

What I did was to break the first name down into the silables and if a sound from the silable makes a word, I looked up the difinition of that word to see wha the sounds that make the name mean.

Ie, dan-I-el

Colin actually means: Peoples victory

Dean means (from decanus) 'leader of ten people'.

TEN means 'ALL' from Numerology

So your name actually means; "Leader of all the people to their victory."
