Iran’s Mullahs Demand Justice for Trayvon

Iran’s foreign ministry on Friday criticized the acquittal of George Zimmerman and chastised the United States for widespread “racial discrimination.”

“The acquittal of the murderer of the teenage African American once again clearly demonstrated the unwritten, but systematic racial discrimination against racial, religious, and ethnic minorities in the US society,” Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Abbas Araqchi was quoted as saying by Iran’s state run Fars News Agency.

And just when you thought you heard enough coming out of Obama’s mouth, Iran has to jump in and give their say on the Zimmerman/Martin case?

“The court ruling has also seriously put under question the fairness of the judicial process in the United States,” Fars reported Araqchi as saying

I guess we should have let Iran take on the trial from day one, because after all, our judicial system totally sucks here in America! If Iran had any say in the matter, Zimmerman and his whole family would have probably been put to death!

Go Iran...

Doesn't Iran have that sharia law thing in full force in that wonderful country? Zimmerman would have been dead before he even set foot in a court room...

Yeah, we should have sent Zimmerman over there from the get go! We all know how much the Iranians love Americans. They would have acquitted him as soon as he set foot in the country...

IMO this court ruling has basically legalised murder.

No 'if's' no 'but's'.

It was murder.

No it wasn't a jury decided that...oh whats the point.
Iran is just trying to wind the USA up..don't let it work.

The anti-Zimmerman lynch-mob crowd is clearly aligned with Iran.

Actually the only thing they have in common is the need to use viral opinion as a political tool. Or maybe the new president is trying to score points with Obama? Wouldn't it be weird if Iran started agreeing with the US about random topics...

All the evidence has been put forth, jury came to a decision, and acquitted Zimmerman.

Please go cry a river somewhere else..!

Maybe you can get a one way ticket to Iran, and join that Sharia Law thing they have going on over there. You would probably fit in just fine...

No offense op but who the hell cares what Iran thinks or for that matter any other country? It's not like the U.S. tries to push our policies or ideas on other countries..........

(i almost got it out with a straight face.)

This is getting ridiculous.

So sick of hearing about Zimmerman/Trayvon

Why the hell does Iran care? Rest of the world doesn't seem to have even noticed.

Why the hell does anyone care? This thousands of murders happening everyday involving every kind of race.

Seriously, the media did a good job on this one. Think ATS will be going on about this for the next thousand years.

The sad thing is there are probably a lot of Americans who are thinking IF we had Sharia Law in place, Zimmerman would have paid the price for his actions..

Wow that is crazy. Now perhaps Obama's intervention was not a bad thing as frankly the eyes of the wolrd are upon the issue of race in America and has been since Jesse Owens.

PS Will North Korea comment next?

So go repeal the law. Do you live in Florida?

Great, ill file this info under who cares.

Only thing that matters is by the letter of the law he was innocent.

Everyone complaining otherwise needs to write their senators about the constitutionality of stand your ground law.
As for Iran I'm sure re u.n. would love them to try for human rights violation.

If you dont like the verdict and haven't than stfu.

So you and Obama are cut from the same cloth!

You are judge jury and executioner.

He was found innocent by a jury of his peers.

You and our president think you know better. You are as delusional as he is. You would make a fine dictator one day.

Im just saying its a law in florida, lets look at it because from what Im reading here? Its serves to protect people from attacks.

And if you ask me, there is no government anywhere that is going to tell a person not to defend him or her self under attack. People have the RIGHT to defend themselves.

You would be wrong, There are many states that have a requirement of retreat if you can.

Doctrines like Castile law( on your property you can defend with no retreat)

AND Stand your ground law (no obligation to retreat) Allow for situations that would make Zimmerman guilty.

If you agree with the above or not does not matter, the Law in florida allows for no retreat which is what happened.

If this where say in CA, Zimmerman would of been convicted as he HAD to retreat if he could, not so in Florida.

So youre saying the laws normally prefer that you run. and this law says hey wait, naw, stand defend and yourself if your life is in danger, right?
