OMG - Epic drunk post fail before bed!!

And FYI none of those are my passwords as my dog is only 2 years old, and my passwords are a LOT older believe me!

Although I'm hugely embarrassed, thanks for playing along. I do feel kinda relieved that I'm not a total nutcase on my own!

Some of those answers had me in stitches!

Mine be gone too but never forgot either. My heart goes out to you for Bud. My big (124.lb) rottie was a real ham. Always called him Butch. Not the name the store had on him. Had to stop saying his other name in public as it caused a ruckus to say the least.
"Yo, Boner, will you stop that." Sure a head turner but he earned it. Always trying to hump something.

Maybe in a while I will try.

Oh sheet, here are the tears again, over and out.

Pet names for dogs, you really could've picked a simpler topic, or at least one without its' own taxonomy.
First, I've always named my pets after guitar manufacturers; some of my previous pet's names are: harmony, fender, ibanez, gibson, peavey, & jackson.

There are 9 dogs in my pack and my naming standards are pretty strict. Sometimes it's difficult to incorporate a dog that's already been named.... All dogs are named after guitar brands.
"Bully" dog names designated with only "resonator" guitar brand names (I've used them all up with 5 bully dogs, so the taxonomy may need some expansion).
A designation matrix was developed specifying a prefix "g" for general guitar brand, sequence-within-prefxx, sequence-in-pack with prefix "r" signifying resonator guitar brands.

My dogs:
g1(g1.1) White pyranees mix male
r1.2 Red pit bull mix male
g2.3 Black rough-hair terrier mix female
g3.4 White labrador pit bull mix female
g4.5 Tan&black greyhound german shepard mix male
r2.6 Grey brindle/white Staffordshire bull terrier male
r3.7 Dark grey/white Staffordshire bull terrier female
r4.8 White/grey brindle Staffordshire bull terrier male
r5.9 White/tan american pit bull mix female

Pet nicknames for my dogs:
g1 aka Number One/#1 Son, Bipolarbeardog, Mister Wussy
r1.2 aka Mister Dog, Dobie, Dobie Gillis, Mr.LuvSponge
g2.3 aka "bitch", ...(sorry T&C's)
g3.4 aka Dirty White Girl, Babygurl
g4.5 aka My Best Dog, Maxipoo, Maxipad, Maximo
r2.6 aka Mister Bully, Soopy-doopey-duprow
r3.7 aka Natty, Little Missie, Mommie Dog
r4.8 aka Tuvok, "... the Wonderdog"
r5.9 aka K9

Since we have such a large pack, it's frequently expedient to refer to various groups of dogs in set combinations.
Multiple cross categorizations include the following:

Big three - g1, g3.4, g4.5 (#1son, dirtywhitegirl, maxipad)
White dogs - g1, g3.4, r5.9 r4.8 (bipolarbeardog, dirtywhitegirl, K9, tuvok)
Darkie dogs - r1.2, g2.3, g4.5* (misterdog, bitch, maximo)
Bully dogs - r1.2, g5.9 (dobiegillis, K9) + "Staffys"
Staffys - r2.6, r3.7, r4.8 (misterbully, mommiedog, thewonderdog)

ALL categories preclude combinations of: (g1 & r1.2), (g2.3 & r5.9), (g2.3 & g3.4)
NO misterwussy+mrluvsponge - NO dirtywhitegirl+bitch - NO bitch+K9
Note: asterisk "*" indicates optional (mybestdog can hang with all of them).

Sorry about the dissertation, but the question was the subject of 20 years of field research & practice.

For some strange reason I started calling my cat "Minnie Mouse" many years ago.
Now I just call it "Minnie", or "Maus".

At first somebody told me I can't call the cat that, because it will make him feel bad about being a cat, since cats are supposed to catch mice.

However, Minnie Mouse doesn't care, and he will respond if I call "Minnie, Minnie Mouse!"
