Happy Fireworks (and Air Show Day) Everybody!!!

Happy fireworks day everybody. Knowing that 90% of American Citizens don't even know why we are SUPPOSED to be celebrating today makes it all the more special.

"Today is the day we celebrate our independence" is the canned answer from those who like to pretend they are somehow a "patriot" whatever the hell that is.
Ask them who they are celebrating their independence from.
"The British" is the other canned answer. Ok...........elaborate.

No, today is the day we celebrate our ignorance.
Today is the day we BB-Q, get drunk, and blow # up in our back yards.
You know, the # you spent your hard earned money on at the local "blow # up stand"?

"Look at the pretty colors"!
"Ooooo" "Aahhhhhh"
"That one was pretty"

Meanwhile,
our country......ya know,, the one we are so #ing proud of, is being run into the ground by an elite group of psychopaths who are hell bent on destroying our freedoms and liberties that real actual men DIED for, in order to usher in a totalitarian world dictatorship. The men who died for our freedoms didn't die in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Germany, or Korea. Those men died, but not for our freedoms. They died in order to make alot of very wealthy people even wealthier. They died in order to further an age old agenda. They died in order to bring "democracy" to other nations. Democracy is code for "Making them play ball with the powerful banking cartel that runs this #ing planet by forcing them to have a centralized banking system which will forever send them spiraling into a debt that can never be paid back, thus securing their grip on every nation on the planet". But, that is too long to say everytime so,,,, we call it democracy.

No, the men I speak of Died a couple hundred years ago right #ing here on "our land". Ya know......the land the Injuns gave to us!!! Right after they taught us how to grow corn and we all sat down for thanksgiving dinner. So nice of Johnny Redcorn to offer to move all of his people out to the desert and open a bunch of #ing casinos as well as take up a generational dependance on government programs......and alcohol!
Gotta have the ol' Fire Water to drown out all of the pain. The pain that comes from the white man bringing them civilization. Where would they be without us though? Honestly.
#ing savages, running around naked and praising some spirit in the sky.
Too stupid to know that the "God of the bible" (whomever the # that is) is sitting upon a throne with a bucket of lightning bolts, just itching to smite them for their savagery.

But, I digress.
If we are going to pretend that this is our land, and we "obtained it" with great loss of life to both the people who were bold enough to tell King George to go # himself as well as the injuns who died trying to get to the desert in order to make room for their new BFF's who needed the land a little more than they did then, well, I guess it only makes sense to blow # up and drown ourselves in alcohol so we can also forget the pain that comes from watching ourselves be ass raped by an evil, corrupt, banking cartel who is systematically destroying our nation by terrorizing its citizens and then offering to make all of the bad things stop if we only will give up some of the # so many people have fought and DIED for!!!

Ya know...........FREEDOM and INDEPENDENCE!!!!

One that will undoubtedly cause feelings of patriotism and national pride to well up within me while I am singing some GOD DAMNED Lee Greenwood song at the top of my #ing lungs.

Personally, I celebrate Independence Day for what it is... which is the anniversary of when this nation chose to go its own way.

Now then, how one chooses to behave on this day of recognition, is their own decision. That's one of those freedom things and while things here are not going well... while we have a government that appears to be led from some outside force (as opposed to We the People), it doesn't mean we should shrivel up into a fetal position or go out and burn cars and trash other people's property.

In fact, the day we surrender our observances and holidays is the day we admit to ourselves that we have been defeated.

So, on behalf of my family, my friends and anyone else who isn't ready to throw in the towel or toss a Molotov cocktail... I respond with; Happy Fourth!

Enjoy what so many have died to preserve.

Well since this is the rant section, you are entitled to your rant, but so am I!


You can view this country however you wish, you can feel however you wish, you can say whatever you wish...isn't that great?

Yup, we are going through some really tough and questionable times...


BUT I LOVE MY COUNTRY!!

Just not some of our policies.

I am proud to be an American, and proud to walk out my front door and know I can be and do as I choose.
In some countries I would be killed for my own belief system.

Sorry you have such a negative view, and it is your right to feel this way if you so choose,
but hey, to each their own.

I am happy to be where I am, and to me, there is no place better

You are free to leave this great land as well, if it makes you so unhappy.

I support every warrior that has ever died for this land, both native and military, peaceful and warmonger.



You and I created this country, we elected these people, and if we all chose to do something about it, to restore America to it's greatest potential, it would happen.

But then, it does start with people who feel like you do, so do something about it instead of whining that it is not the great country that it is.
The solders who died for the USA.....
They are pawns, forced to kill for policies, don't blame them, blame the elected officials WE put into office.

Support the troops, not the policies.

A country is a piece of land.
I don't have "pride" in a piece of land.

A government is the ruling body which....."governs" this land and the people on it.

I love the whole idea of the constitution but.....that's all it is now.
Just an idea.
It is for all intents and purposes, dead.

So what do we have left?
A piece of paper, and some fireworks!

Go on "Loving your country" whatever that means.

I love the men who had the balls to stand up to an evil oppressive ruler and told him where to stick it,
knowing full well, that they were committing an act of terrorism.
Course, in those days it wasn't called "terrorism".

I love the ideas they came up with in order to make sure that this never happened again.
What they didn't count on is, a dumbed down, willfully ignorant population who figure the best way to "Love your country" is to bury your head in the sand and figure that the government is handling it, and will do the right thing.

Go on and "Love your country" (whatever that means) all you want.
The problem isn't going away until someone "Loves an Idea".
The Idea I love is freedom from tyranny and oppression.

The word "America" will come and go.
Because that's all it is.
Just a word.

The word freedom will endure.
Because, unlike "America", it is more than just a word.
It is an Idea.
It is written into the DNA of every human being on this planet.

Long after "MeRRca" is dead and gone,
the idea of freedom will persist.

In 1000 years, there will be NO ONE who "Loves America"!!!!!
But there will still be a planet full of people who yearn for freedom!!!!!

What does “I love my country” mean?? To me, it means I love the ideals American was founded on. I love the constitution. I love freedom. I love the history of sacrifice and innovation. I love that America was the dream of many smart men and they made it come true. I love the people here who share the American spirit. That’s what I meant.

Do I think we are FAR removed from the principles and practices that made some declare independence and make this country great in the first place? Absolutely!! That’s why I have distain for the individuals and groups who stray from what we once were. I still believe in the original intent of our declaration, and today is a day to celebrate the brave men who stood up to tyranny long ago so that we may be free.

I can tell you have a lot of hatred towards this country and that’s your prerogative. Personally, I think Independence Day is a time to consider the tyranny our forefather rallied against and strengthen our own resolve to tackle the tyranny we have today.

You’re entitled to your rant though!

I love air shows!! Could not be more thrilled to see them. Incredible skills the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels have. I am proud of them.

We still have a country people are dying every day to get into. Our country's greatness is not in policies and politics, it is in her people, ordinary folks who will be pic nicking and watching fireworks and air shows all over this country happy to do so.

Back to watching this country that everybody loves so much get disassembled
piece by piece.

I often wonder what all of the armchair patriots will say when there is no Murrica left.
When our country finally gets invaded by foreign troops and they claim it as their own.

Will they still say....."I love my country"?
Will they say, "I used to love my country"

or maybe, "I love what my country used to be"

Either way, it will be gone.

Have fun "loving your country" what ever that means.

I love freedom, liberty, and democracy.

I don't give two squirts of piss who offers it or what name they give their country.
If they offer AND GIVE

3. Democracy

Then I am in.

This type of mentality is common among Americans.
