I found out about this site today called whatsmydns .net apparently you can use it to find out which sites are blocked in certain places around the world. So of course the first site i checked is ATS and according to them ATS is blocked in China and France. Both were a little surprising but France? What have the French got to worry about ATS?

Will be interesting to see what other blocked sites members can find

Edit : try putting Wikileaks.org in..

France worked for me. Only China didn't make it through this time.

Ok thats very strange.. france is working for me as well now

Maybe it was a blip...or maybe they are on to us.

Oh well , it kind of ruins the theme of the thread now
, either way its a handy site to play with. Maybe we can just have some fun finding other blocked sites?

Wikileaks.org is blocked all over the place.

So China and France you don't allow the sometimes truth, eh?

Well y'all just made it on the ATS watch list! That's right we'll be watching you, but you'll not be watching us, because we're not allowed to be watched there...

There is no problem with access to ATS from China. Generally it seems to be social sites like Twitter which are not available here. At least Beijing has access I dont know about HK.

Mountain dew, ze French, they ban the ATS?

They are Socialists right now. That may explain things.

The socialists and the communists don't like contra-ideological thoughts all over their governance strategy.
