He was implying that it was a piece that fell off while the rover was in the parachuting process. As in, it didn't fall off the rover while it was driving around but rather fell off the rover while it was parachuting down. Thus, there would be no tracks if that was the case.

stop being a snitch, the mods can do there job without your help, and by the way there is a theory out there that when mars was more inhabitable there was life on mars and they left when Armageddon happened, so this thread can be put in this category based on the theory alone.

At least it isn't an 8 track tape of "The Sweet " banging out "Bar-room Blitz".
They were obviously far beyond us in terms of music, at least out of the Disco era.
Maybe someone on Mars hacked the Paris Hilton site to study our ritualistic mating practises.

Interesting part in the new 'Man of Steel' movie where a DARPA station in Antarctica is 'colouring' pictures of the icy environment and pretending that it is mars for all the people of the world to speculate over.

This is very accurate as to what is actually happening.

Why? Cause there is no way on Earth they are ever going to show us the structures and ruins they are REALLY looking at on Mars.

How do we keep them entertained .. Chuck a statue of a lizard from someones living room in here .. a CD there .. Keep them wondering ..

Like distracting seagulls with shiny objects .. LITERALLY!!

This is not real footage people .. look at the coloration on the curves of the environment .. Its color-filtered. Is the world really that stupid?? C'mon people!!!!!

Take any picture of an icy desert in Antarctica, then use photoshop on it .. see what you get ..

It does NOT take it as long to beam back images as they are telling you. That's how long it takes them to apply the photoshop effects on the pictures..

You don't believe they would lie and release fake pictures to the people?? Then I suggest you do a little research on the history of 'mars imagery' and their complete 'balls up' in the fakes of the past, including getting the colour of the atmosphere wrong.

Its just like pretending to throw a ball to a dog you're sick of chucking it to .. then hiding it .. Keeps them busy and out of your hair ..

Don't be so foolish!

Already being discussed here: www.abovetopsecret.com...

It's not shiny. It's a light coloured object, most likely some kind of calcium deposit, exposed through erosion. Curiosity has snapped many things like that before.

That looks more like a skillsaw blade than a CD. Did they build that set over an old dumpsite or something, you would think that they would be better at making sure that these kind of things don't happen.

*Slaps his forehead*

The only person more foolish than a gullible man .. is the one trying to explain to him why he is so.
