Streaks of lightning ran through her wild mane

As black stained cheeks arrived again

Artic blue eyes burned furiously with rage

Frantically grasping her rusted brass cage

Fits of fury vibrated to the core

Shrieks on echo that'll be ignored

Naked trees sway violently east

Alone and shaken... forever deceased

I like it! I didnt know until recently they had forums for artists and writers on ATS but Im glad I found out cause who knows how many of these gems ive missed out on before

You are absolutely too kind friend. I truly think my poetry is 'ok' but not publishing worthy And I try to look at the positive,it can just be hard at times ya know. Also a friend just gave me a site where I can share my poetry and people can buy it if they want...hmm..I have not really looked into it yet. I am the worst procrastinator hah.

natalia, I mostly come and check in here at the short stories forum to specifically read what you may have presented my dear friend....as ever, you did it again! I love it! I treasure your endeavors and enjoy grayeagles writings and Slayer and some others here but I wonder what ever happened to another great writer that used to come here...laffoe. Miss him.

Thank you so much sweet friend I'm glad you enjoy it. And I don't know where laffoe has gone. I messaged him just to see how he was doing, but he hasn't been on ATS since the end of march..maybe he's busy.

I have more, I just haven't shared them yet. And I will share some with you in a private message if ya like. I share some with friends and cousins....sometimes I share with hubby. Anyway. Hope you are having a nice day today.
