Age of consent is 14 in Italy. I agree that 17 year olds can give informed consent, but should it also be legal to pay for sex with them? I am not sure about that. 7 years is stiff, but I wonder how many of those years will he actually spend in prison..


It was a sleazy thing to do, but 7 years......

It's not like he is Sandusky.

He wasn't raping anyone. And she had reached the age of consent.

I say forbidding him from public office and a fine is punishment enough.
