Certainly he's doing something, but what he's doing is harmful.

A little under three years ago a man got into a shootout with police apparently on his way to slaughter people inside the offices of several liberal groups. One of which was hardly ever heard of save for when Glenn Beck talked about it (the Tides Foundation).

In an apparent jailhouse confession the man said Glenn Beck introduced him to things he never would thought of otherwise.

In a country full of volatile gun fanatics Beck's crazed rants against liberals may well be costing lives.

Have you ever been here? Owning a gun, or two, or three for that matter doesn't make you a "fanatic" by any definition of the word.

Given the amount of shootings in the USA its clear that the country has a lot of mentally unstable people who also own guns.

When you have people in the media claiming a portion of the population are criminals who want to do terrible things to you coupled with the mentally unstable gun owners then you get shootings like the one I linked to above. Pretty simple, really.

Beck is yelling fire in a theater and he doesn't give a damn what damage it will cause.
