Strange sighting on the new billion pixel mars image

Locate the rover.

Find a part of the rover shaped like a cylinder. Find a shiny spot on there. It is near the bottom of the cylinder. You will know you have the right area because when you zoom in, it will be blue. Zoom in and you should see what appears to be blue sky with vultures circling overhead.

you know i always wondered why they made the martins look like vultures on the bugs bunny show.

I knew we would see posts like this shortly after the image's release lol...

It looks like the camera caught a reflection and it's over exposed in that area... Everything around the "vultures" is very blurry, I doubt that they would be in focus through this reflection.

The reason I posted this is because I think maybe they are on Earth some place. The mountains and horizon are a photo manipulation while the rocks are real.

Is this a reflection of the sky?

If so, the specks wouldn't be what intrigues me. It would be what looks like clouds. Rather thick ones.
Never mind... I see that they are rocks.
Imagine that!

If they are in the desert, even there you sometimes find trash or evidence that humans have been around, bones and stuff. So I have looked through the image and found many things that look like bits of trash and metal, bones and such.

Keplivick Island . Sorry to much Monty Python. My bet it's Dust, just saying.

Nevermind the dust then. Why is the sky blue, if we are told mars has very little atmosphere? They doctor the image so the sky looks red or greyish or some other color.

those are laser shots... however there DO seem to be some interesting things on ground but they blend in with color so look like more cool rocks.. It would be a COOL psyop if there were good images in there just hidden

Dust and overexposed is all, seriously. The filters on the different cameras, many things can cause odd visual effects. There are so many wonderful and interesting pictures from Mars.

But focusing on almost reflections off the rover? Do not worry about Scotoma look around at all the science, not the device.
