Senate rejects border fence

Senators on Tuesday rejected building the 700 miles of double-tier border fencing Congress authorized just seven years ago, with a majority of the Senate saying they didn’t want to delay granting illegal immigrants legal status while the fence was being built.

So the border fence issue is dead....along with the immigration bill when it hits The House. The Repubs are saying that they will remove Boehner from the Speaker position if he allows a vote on this bill.

i have always thought that a border fence was a huge waste of time. its not the illegals fault they are coming into the country. they are just trying to support their families; its the greed of the companies that hire these people "under- the- table" . if we would just uphold the laws we already have there would not be a problem with illeagals go fine the companies that hire these people until itis not cost effective and then they will have to hire people on the books to do the job
