Russia and Britain can overcome their differences on the Syria conflict, British Prime Minister David Cameron said after meeting President Vladimir Putin in London.
The conflict was at the top of the agenda in Sunday's meeting which could set the tone for the Group of Eight (G8) summit, with the West at odds with Moscow over how to handle the conflict.

Cameron said that he blamed President Bashar al-Assad for "tearing country apart" and the Syrian leader had to go.

But he said: "What I take from our conversation today is that we can overcome these differences if we recognise that we share some fundamental aims: to end the conflict, to stop Syria breaking apart, to let the Syrian people decide who governs them and to take the fight to the extremists and defeat them."

As soon as I read this I just felt like touching hearts with Vlad, Giving him the biggest hug "to touch hearts" and a high five.

Do you want to supply arms to these people? This goes against the humanitarian and cultural values that Europe has been professing for centuries."

Putin was referring to disturbing video footage on the internet which is said to be of one rebel fighter eating what appeared to be the heart of a government soldier.

The talks followed a decision by President Barack Obama's administration to arm rebels trying to overthrow President
Bashar al-Assad after it said it had obtained proof that the Syrian government had used chemical weapons.

The UK supports the US and supports the coup lead by the CIA in Syria back inMarch 1949

Russia does not support the US GOVT and understands the dire need for the US and it's allies to finish what it started. and has been planning to do such for some time now.

Putin is one of the last leaders we have.As for Cameron, he's just blowing smoke and double speaking as always.

Putin: West arming Syrian rebels who eat human flesh

This country Putin is referring to, armed religious zealots to kill 14,000 Russian soldiers who were invited to fight against an army that is not unlike the flesh eating Syrian rebels who have the ability to leave the border of Syria peacefully. It's not North Korea.

And once again we are arming a non-state affiliated force with no flag, and no military uniform. It doesn't matter if Assad has been or has not been arming Hezbollah. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I am surprised that Putin still is on speaking terms with America at all.

When you're dealing with negatives, two wrongs can equal out to be a positive outcome.

In the Political arena, everything must appear prim, proper and rosey, in the public eye. A man of Vlad's stature would embellish in all the glory of putting those who oppose his beliefs, in their place, publically, candidly, and down right embarrassing them as we see with Cameron.

How can a nation support or wish to support and condone such acts of violence?

Because they themselves are not directly committing but merely funding the project.

When Obama gets back from the G8 lets sit down and talk impeachment.

I personally can't believe what Obama & Co are thinking and getting away with in the middle east. Though truth be told I can't believe what he's doing in any and every other arena as well. But the middle east in particular because it's just so incredibly blatant and in public view that he's/we've been helping our enemy and nobody even cares. It's never even brought up. Let's recap shall we......

Egypt's government is working with Isreal toward peace in the ME, and are a democratic, not religiously based government, and an enemy of terrorists, and Obama helps topple that government and hands complete control of Egypt over to the muslim brotherhood.......terrorists........ by arming them, giving them billions of dollars, and perhaps more powerfull than both.......the American Propaganda Machine that is The Media giving them support.

Ghadaffi is one of the most powerfull enemies of radical islamic terrorists in the region. Those radicals (who we publicly know have AL Quaeda and other radical ties) start calling themselves "rebels", and Obama starts arming them, sending in CIA operatives to support them, and even gets the UN to give the terror......uh....rebels air support. They hand Syria over to terrorists........though only after allowing those terrorists to heinously mutilate and murder Ghadaffi and his family's bodies. And once again the terrorists get full mainstream media support.

Obama lets terrorists kill Americans in Libya on 9-11. And half heartedly covers it up, and doesn't even really care at all or appologised at all after it comes out what he did.

And Ol' Barry's been "secretly" (but not really because everyone knew we already were anyway) arming the Syrian "rebels".....who btw are the same kind of "rebels as the Libyans.....radical islamic terrorists. Once again, everyone and their grandma knows these rebels are Al Quaeda and various other radical group terrorists yet no one in America seems to care that Obama is supporting them. Now it's also right out in the open. Obama admits he's arming terrorist rebels trying to overthrow one of the last non-radical islamic leaders in the middle east. Not a single person of significance is calling out Obama's administration or any other government officials that are openly supporting terrorists taking over the entirety of the middle east for some strange reason.

AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE?!?!?!?! I seem to be the only one who cares Obama has been openly supportling radical muslims in the middle east for almost as long as he's been president. And not only supporting them with weapons and billions of dollars, but he's actually handing them whole countries.

I'm not one for impeachment. Everyone throws that word around, but when you are even thinking of arming organ stealing headhunters impeachment is a sound theory. And I voted for Obama.

Many people got duped into believing in "Yes we Can" vote a non American into office.

Any protest will escalade when the authority moves in, any peaceful protest.

I would expect nothing less of the American people in this day and age to do nothing but.

If/when they do follow the example in Brazil, Turkey, London, Bilderberg, Monsanto, and protest the Obama Administration and presiding GOVTS, in their own arrogant, Patriotic, "We are Americans home of the Brave, Land of the Free" way, will succeed with one weapon and one weapon alone, their voice, broadcasted, All over the world.

Why else would you go for the jugular?
