Oh Buttocks - Carbon emissions could go through the roof

As if we didn't have enough to worry about, Now Carbon emissions could go through the Bloody Roof...Literally.

Russian scientists have to up sticks and run for their lives as Arctic Ice melts under their feet...well maybe not that dramatic but you get the gist of it .

There has been a lot of discussion about greenhouse gas emissions increasing at an alarming rate and the potential for runaway global warming happening in the very near future.

Arctic Research Station Evacuated After Ice Melts Underneath It

Research at Russia's North Pole-40, a station located aboard an ice floe in the Arctic, has ceased following an emergency evacuation of personnel. The ice upon which the station was built had begun to melt at an alarming rate and split into six pieces.

According to ITAR-TASS, a Russian news agency, North Pole-40 had been constructed in October 2012 with the expectation of working through September 2013. Those plans were scrapped in late May, however, after its foundation began melting and the research was quite literally put on thin ice.

It seems we are off to a very early ice melt season indeed, if their projections were to be fine "through September 2013."

Melting ice is completely normal. And it's only a few degrees. It's not like there are any dinosaurs left to kill.
