www.cbsnews.com...

It is important to be able to think critically in order to avoid being brainwashed by the media and the government. Watch out, CBS is at it in FULL SWING right now, as if they have only a few days to brainwash everyone.

"... this 29 year-old, who is now holed up in some hotel room in Hong Kong, claiming to be the defender of Democracy"

See, the complete douche-bag Republican who is being interviewed here is trying to be manipulative. By using this statement, he is trying to make it sound like it is crazy that someone went to "China" (which, by the way, is *not* Hong Kong) to be somewhere safer than America, to discredit his sanity.

What he fails to explain (on purpose) is that someone fleeing to China in order to defend Democracy is more of an indicator of the direction OUR COUNTRY is heading than his character.

Look at the facts. The informant did go to Hong Kong because it was safer. Is it safer for him there? Hell yes or else the U.S. would not be trying to get him back here to put him on trial.

CBS has been throwing up this verbal vomit non-stop over the past 24 hours, obviously getting the population ready for when a lot of people start to get arrested. It is super easy to read between the lines when you have critical thinking skills.

By trying to use crappy subliminal messaging techniques, the media is actually revealing the next stages of the plan instead of brainwashing people. Pay attention

Someone who is lying, especially at this point in the game where it looks like there was a rushed decision to go into the next phase, is going to be making contradictions, false statements, etc. like a madman.

There are so many other false statements and manipulative statements being said in this one news clip that I recommend bringing them up on here to avoid being taken by it.

Something's odd about this whole thing. I can't put my finger on it yet.
The usual suspects are saying the usual things but it's this guy Snowden I don't get yet. I'd like to see how all the players react before I make up my mind. Specifically China.

i like the way this was all done.. a quick dissection of a news piece.. maybe i just like it because i'm already a tinfoil hat wearer?

heh.. sorry but i had a good little chuckle at this.. you're right, but if i ever saw a news piece telling me i had to walk southwards to save my life, i'd run north instead..

..fear and doom ...and buy a berkey water filter

Oh man, that is hilarious! CBS was on all night last night while I was trying to sleep and it was story after story like this, my God. I haven't actually seen something this badly put together before.

Okay that's a good point. Since I do have the background for this, I might as well look at the whole news story and watch the guy's body language to tell you what is going on behind the scenes.
