These are some really cool pics of different cloud formations , I just thought it was a nice collection and wanted to share.

Mother nature is so cool


Lenticular Clouds, (Altocumulus lenticularis) are stationary lens-shaped clouds that form at high altitudes





This looks like a cloaked alien spaceship


Mammatus Clouds, also known as mammatocumulus (meaning “mammary cloud” or “breast cloud”)






Undulatus Asperatus Clouds coomon in the Midwest USA

Cloud iridescence is the occurrence of colors in a cloud, a very rare sight

I see a poodle above a skyscraper in that one picture. S&F for collecting all the pictures.

Are these all natural cloud formations?

Some are beautuful and certainly unusual, but some are scary as hell.

Asperatus undulatus again, already a subject in other threads tonight!




This picture from Eastern Europe, I have seen the same, although the colour was more to the white and grey, transient and not a signal of any extreme weather. Looks like being underwater and looking at the surface undulations. Both weird and beautiful.

Hi goou111, Here is a cloud pic I took on Sept. 11, 2001....the day that changed everything. I think it looks like an angel but some folks say it looks like a heart.

Found one more cloud pic of mine to add. This has been a neat topic thread, Enjoyed seeing all the pics!

Gotta tell ya, before opening this thread I thought to myself, what kind of LOSER with NO LIFE would post a bunch of pics of stupid meaningless clouds? Now I have to go S&F this because those pics are AWESOME!
