I am not confusing anything.

Maybe you are the one confused?

She based the poem around the views of a man she knew, a man ( who like many others these days ) seemed to tar all immigrants with the same brush, and who seemed to spout off an unjustified hate for people with no facts or figures to back it up. The poem is her personal opinion on that matter. An opinion which I happen to agree with. She states it really well.

Well, illegally breaking into a new developed country only to enforce your old way of life on yourself and others whether it's raping, crime in general, religious doctrination, is not the first step to get along.
Do you actually believe that the majority of illegal immigrants that get in trouble choose to get along and just happen to hog crime?

Here in the UK sometimes immigrants are an issue, for example the extremist kind and the creation of ghettos in cities and towns, as well as other issues such as milking the NHS and welfare system and getting payments sent to their relatives as well as free healthcare whilst not contributing, there is such a thing here as an NHS tourist.

Whilst not all immigrants are of this ilk, some are hard working, respectable and have better 'caring for your family' ethics than the average UK national as well as not conforming to the 'getting drunk whenever possible' ethic of a percentage of youth / 20/s /30 somethings.

The problem is IMMIGRATION being destructive to society, as it is unsustainable, the cost to the NHS, local councils and the governments is very very costly, free housing for most, free money, free healthcare etc has strained these resources so much that getting a GP appointment has become practically impossible, waiting weeks, the elderly and those needing operations have had to wait or even died waiting because hospitals cannot cope so waiting lists for operations are off the charts, stories of the elderly being left on trolleys in corridors for days in hospitals, getting a decent dentist is difficult as most are closing their doors to new patients as they cannot cope, there is a national housing shortage which has led to landlords in the private sector charging over the odds for substandard housing and people don't have much choice if they cannot get on the property ladder, the recession has made lending difficult, people at the lower end of the social scale have been denied payments or have suffered more reductions to the benefits they could receive because the government has over stretched it's resources, the job market has become saturated with workers from Eastern Europe / India / wherever accepting lower payments as they often live in groups like students, sharing costs and sending money back to Poland or wherever, money which isn't staying the the UK, people have found it more difficult getting work due to this strata being taken, previously students and unqualified workers would take these jobs, schools have waiting lists for entries etc etc etc.

Essentially the previous government opened the doors to immigration an overwhelmingly unsustainable amount, the infrastructure of the UK cannot cope, the people already here. the tax payers and those whose relatives fought for their families freedom have suffered, they feel betrayed by their own government. IMMIGRATION IS AN ISSUE.

'Back door' will let in 20,000 migrants

A TRADE deal between the EU and India, worth billions of pounds, could allow 20,000 workers into Britain by the back door, a senior MP said yesterday

Chairman of the Commons Home Affairs Committee Keith Vaz expressed serious concerns about the deal because of “strings-attached” demands by Indian IT giants.

Mr Vaz said Downing Street needed to be more candid about the influx of migrants and the possibility that British graduates might be undercut and squeezed out of jobs.

He said: “My concern is that although the Government strongly believes in reducing the number of people who come into this country, this EU-India Free Trade Agreement comes with strings.

“And the strings are that thousands of visas will be given to Indian companies to enable them to come and work in the EU, including the UK, under the intra-company transfer arrangements.

“So it comes at a cost, and that will be the effect on real immigration. They say they want to bring down immigrant numbers into the tens of thousands, but that’s not going to be achievable if you count all these intra-company transfer visas.”

In a major new immigration scam, half of all bogus weddings now involve foreign students.
The revelation shows the full scale of the past abuse of the student visa system.
The non-EU nationals faced removal from Britain after their bogus colleges were shut down in a crackdown by the Government.

But, instead of returning home, they are arranging fake weddings with British nationals or EU citizens to prolong their stay, often paying thousands of pounds in fees to 'fixers'.
Under a Brussels edict, marrying an EU citizen can grant the same rights to stay as marrying a Briton.
Officials say the trend shows that the migrants' true reason for travelling to the UK in the first place was to settle, not to study. Last year, they identified a suspected 2,000 sham marriages.

While fewer than half of Britain’s police forces contributed to the data, meaning that the true figures will be much higher, the figures show that the total number of foreigners arrested for committing crime has risen by 76% in three years, going from 51,899 arrests in 2008 to 91,234 arrests in 2010.

One unfortunate area, Cambridgeshire, recorded an astounding 17,689% rise in arrests of foreign criminals in this period.

It is estimated that if all the Police Authorities in Britain had submitted figures, they would reveal that a staggering 750,000 foreign criminals have been arrested since 2008.

Illegal immigration isn't destroying our country, our financial system is. Remove it and force able bodied people to work, then immigration becomes a non-issue... just like welfare, foodstamps, unemployment, and every other social issue we're faced with today.

I hate how people forget that their ancestors were all immigrants. You'd think after a few centuries people would gain a tolerance and accept people in like people accepted their ancestors in. Yes, I think that immigrants should have to check in and all of that, but that's a safety precaution. Everyone should have a chance. It's just a shame that our economy is making the tension a lot worse.

And those that were born in the country, that do nothing but suck it dry of it's resources, are what...exactly??? We should send those that are receiving government aid, to a 3rd world country, and show them the meaning of poverty and having to WORK to feed yourself.

I had my fill of immigrants, it's like I live in a 3rd world country now. I could make a few poems myself.........

Just remember that when invaders joke about stealing multiple identies to send food stamp money, welfare, medicines paid with Medicaid back to the home country to fuel the smuggling of drugs and humans across borders. I have seen this with my own eyes. I have watched cops just let illegals go from traffic stops. Of course I was shocked and asked the cop why he would just let them go like that. No ID, registration, papers, nothing. You know what the cop told me. He was doing me a favor. He asked me what I wanted done and of course I said tow his stuff take him in question him and what not. He said why. It will cost ME money to have his car towed it will cost me money to have someone try to find out the identity of a person who doesn't even know who they are. If he was taken in it would have cost thousands just to figure out which country the man belongs to. It makes sense it really does unless we hit this nail on the head we lose at every angle.
