Changing the default to not subscribing to a thread.

Currently, if we post in a thread, the "subscribe to this thread" box is already checked.

Is there a way to set the default to unchecked? I find overwhelmingly that I uncheck it as I dont want my subscriptions to be cluttered.

In addition, there are other ways to follow threads if we've commented. Simply goto "my posts" and it takes us to our post and the thread.

Other websites I travel down have done this, and it makes it much easier. If someone wants to subscribe they should be able to, but to always subscribe, and have to think of opting out each and every time you post (such as this one, I can see the little checkmark down there on the bottom left of my screen) adds unneccessarily to the energy of posting.
