Heath Campbell, who named one of his children Adolf Hitler, tells a New Jersey court he wants to prove to them that he is "a good father".

Heath Campbell - father of Adolf Hitler Campbell, 7, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, 6, Honzlynn Jeannie Campbell, 5, and 18-month-old Heinrich Hons Campbell - donned a German Nazi uniform for the hearing in Flemington, New Jersey. The 40-year-old, who also sports a large swastika tattoo on his neck, was appearing before the court in a bid to win the right to see Heinrich Hons, who was taken into care by social services soon after his birth in November 2011.

Somehow i do not think that dressing like this is going to help him get custody of his kids back
his older kids were taken from him in 2009.

I bet the judge was Fuhrerious.

Editing to add more information from 'The Daily Mail'

They say previous court records from previous hearings show that the oldest child, Adolf, frequently threatened to kill people, and that the mother reportedly had also once given a note to her neighbor saying she was terrified of her husband, who had threatened to kill her. It also says that the mother has given up her rights to the children and that her and Campbell are now seperated.

The woman in the above picture is named as Bethanie White, a member of his organization 'Hitler's Order'.

Flagged just for this.

While we live in a country that supposedly protects free speech, I am willing to bet that this will not be the case here.

"I bet the judge was Fuhrerious" LOL that's clever!

Why were his children taken from him specifically though, that's what I'm wondering. This article says:

the Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) did not reveal the reason why the children were taken into the custody of the state

Kate Bernyk, a spokeswoman for the DYFS, said confidentiality laws prevented her from confirming the Campbell children were involved.

"DYFS has their reasons and they normally don't release any information, so we kind of have to go on faith with them," Sergeant Harris said.

"I've dealt with the family for years and as far as the children are concerned, I have never had any reports of any abuse with the children. "As far as I know, he's always been very good with the children."

Besides the cake incident, giving his children Nazi-inspired names, having a swastika tattoo and wearing Nazi clothes... what are the charges here?

I don't see how it's right to take someone's kids away just because the parent gave them stupid names. Maybe force the parent to change the names. The fact is there are parents out there really abusing their kids physically but nothing is ever done. Ok, dad is stupid, but there are a lot of stupid parents out there anyway that are allowed to have children. The fact is the children were removed because the parents beliefs didn't confirm to society what is considered acceptable. That to me sounds like a real Nazi move - reminds me of how only blue eyes and blonde hair was acceptable in Nazi Germany. Hypocrites.

Nazis were horrible barbaric evil Etc
But what they weren't, was plain ol' dumb
Especially an officer as decorated as this guy wants to be...

A real Nazi from back in the 30's or 40's
would have been smart enough to not wear the uniform
where it's not appropriate .
Like say the United States in 2013 in a custody battle.

Why are modern Aryan Nation people not very smart?
Considering they believe they are genetically superior?

And for the record this modern nazi gave one of his
children a middle name of Aryan Nation.
Klassy with a K.

I'm sorry, but it should take more than giving your kid a crappy name, for the state to take your kids away. In the article, there was some claim of abuse, but no mention of charges. I'm sorry, but if there isn't enough evidence to charge the guy, then there certainly shouldn't be enough to remove the kids from the home.

Sure, the guy is an idiot, but last I checked, that was not against the law. Of course, his choice of court attire is not exactly bright....or is it? From the attention, he just may get something out of this whole deal.

By all rights the kids should go back to the parents. The Division of Youth and Family Services won't say why they took the kids and the police say that there has never been any child abuse and the parents are good to the children. So by what right did this agency take these kids? If it was over the kids names then that should be illegal. A parent should have the right to name their kids whatever they want.

heres a short video -

I think if he was really truly serious about putting his kids first then he would'nt have went for the 'shock and awe ' factor, and would not have wanted anything to upset his custody battle.

Lol...yes I'd like the cake to say "happy birthday Adolf Hitler" he's a rambunctious one that Adolf!

Seriously the courts need to prove he's an unfit father. They can't take his kids because he's a douche bag.

I didn't see anything saying anyone had proof of abuse or neglect, but then naming your kids with Nazi names, and fascist remarks may be considered endangering them.

What he said.

I can't stress enough that stupid people should be allowed to express themselves.

If we let this guy talk all the time (the father) no-one would want to be a nazi-dirtbag.

Hell, if we let Biden or Obama talk all the time, no-one would want to be a democrat!

Let stupid people speak!

Oh yeah, I can see how far down the road of proving fitness as a father he has traveled. I'm surprised he wasn't thrown in a cell for contempt.

I mean seriously, does a clown come to court dressed that way with a big red horn nose? Does a fireman come to court in full turnout gear with axe in hand? Would you expect to see a surgeon appear in his scrubs with unknown dark substances across the green of the clothing?

What did this guy think showing up, dressed like a bad nightmare from a long dead past was going to accomplish exactly?

Oh....and I'm not sure what ALL the Uniform insignia means. I don't think it all even matches to be worn together in proper form. However, the Arm band sure shows a level of arrogance to the guy. Supreme Department Leader was my closest catch for it.

I'm sure the collar tabs are officer designation but I can't quite be positive from the video, which? I also can't get a good enough look at his other shoulder to get a solid read on that one for ID. He must have paid a pretty penny for the costume tho. :shk:

This article gives more information

In 2010, a New Jersey appeals court ruled there was sufficient evidence of abuse or neglect due to prior domestic violence to seize the children. Authorities insisted putting the children into care had nothing to do with their names. Court records from previous hearings show that the oldest child, Adolf, frequently threatened to kill people. The mother reportedly had also once given a note to her neighbor saying she was terrified of her husband, who had threatened to kill her.

It goes on to say that Campbell has since separated from his wife and she has given up rights to her children.

Ok if that's true, then screw this guy he lost my support.

Want to be a douche fine, want to lay hands on people not fine. Freedom of speech, freedom of belief, not freedom of harming someone.

Have to echo what others have said here... what, exactly, are the charges? There dont seem to be any legitimate ones, or they would be released. The whole "ohhh, sorry, we cant tell you because we keep these things "confidential" for the family", is just a smoke screen 99% of the time.

Of course, what really happened probably, was that he offended some official, in some way, maybe not even directly or knowingly, and that official wanted to get revenge, so they take the kids from him without even bringing charges against him.

America, baby.

I genuinely don't care if this idiot gets his kids back. Clearly, he doesn't either, otherwise he wouldn't be parading into a court room in full nazi regalia. This guy's an idiot, and frankly his kids are better off for not being around him.
